If anyone reacts badly when talking to me, it's usually because they can't just get a rise out of me when they want to.

Venusincap was trying to get my attention by ridiculing me, and I wasn't giving him the satisfaction of a counter-attack.

soren has been freaking out at me for days, with no substance to his arguments, because I'm not going *** for tat with him. He calls me the worst names, and I don't react in kind by assaulting his character, so he makes it worse.

I tend to only focus on present behavior. I don't say, "Well you're just a _____" like other people do. I don't label like other people do, for the most part.

People are just trying to get a rise out of me.

Same thing with Orange.

Used to be nice to me but since I won't play it her way, and let her spit poison at me without spitting back, she just gets nastier and nastier.

All these people want, I think, is for me to stoop to making vicious insults like they do, so they can say it's really a two-sided war. But it isn't.

I've been accused of being very subtly bullying.

If turning the other cheek is pouring hot coals over someone's head, then I guess I am guilty?

isn't this phrase the most kind of sexist itself, especially when you're a woman yourself?!

I found it so insulting and it was the only sexist thing I read on that thread.

and for all I know, I never understood how leeloo came to the idea that he never loved a girl, and even so, is that something to humiliate someone for? if he indeed had his venus in cap, from my experience these men never approach a woman unless they're sure of their own financial security.

I didn't say it on that thread, I said it now.

And if you read my comments, nowhere did I call him sexist or any other names. He was just a very disturbed person, regardless of whether he was sexist or not. Also, if you read my comments to him on that AND the other thread, you'll see that I very much tried putting myself in his shoes.
