I just looked at the chart of virtuoso Joe Satriani, and he's got the two conjunctions in trine.

Now, how sweet is that?

Sun, Mercury, Uranus
Trine
Venus, Neptune.

Now that's Stellar.

So it all depends on many factors, positive or negative or both, but it will give you clues on how you are able to take things to a higher level and what you do with it when you get there.

Oops, it was Venus and Neptune stationary while the moon was is a blissful sea of light with Neptune.

Trine was right, though.

it is a blessing and a curse at the same time! LOL

Welcome, K. Thank you for the post. You described the aspect very well!

I have the trine both in natal and in progression and I do have a lot of things in my mind but find it hard to express maybe because of my retrograde mercury. The natal aspect is wide (9 orbs) and the progression is a little tighter (3 orbs). I still don't get what does progression aspects mean, do you think I can fit the natal aspect's description on the progression ones? Thank you

No, I don't think progressed aspects will ever have the power of the natal ones, my Friend

An aspect not mentioned but is VERY significant in my opinion, is the Quintile.

I have mercury quintile uranus almost exact and many people think I'm brilliant intellectually.

My mercury is in Scorpio retrograde too so my mindset and thought process is soo off the grid.

I'm one of those people who you can literally tell anything and I won't judge you. I might even help you come up with some bizarre ideas to add.

The Quintile shows hidden talents.

My intellect definitely fits the bill.

In school, I was always in some sorr of magnet program or early college program. K-12.

I grew up reading, writing, and speaking spanish fluently by the time I reached 3rd grade.

I also have a unique way of looking at most things which often henders my success in certain academic subjects.

I never fit in with my peers although I eventually learned how to blend in (thanks to mary jane unfortunately).

My intellectual thought process doesn't fit with my social class, environment, or age.

the reason quitile/septile is over looked

is cause astrologers put too much emphasis/importance/notice on the signs. the signs and planets are 2 destinct creations in existence. outside of astrology, they have no correlation.

as seen here all angles of a circle are sacred.

quintile is as important. quintile has no place in signs, because signs are their own energy unrelated to angles.

In other words, he went from the material world to some world unknown by mortals. The price for this brilliance may be emotional and/mental instability. If the Mercury/Uranus conjunction is four to ten degrees, there is a little breathing room. The person will be brilliant. However, the instability factor will, likely, be reduced many notches.

You already know how I feel about this aspect in my chart haha. Mine is 4 degrees, but it does get frustrating because I know how intelligent I am, but because I'm unconventional, some people think otherwise.

I don’t know how people with it in natal live . I remember moments with Pluto transits when I was all in my feelings and thought it’s bad... Even it was negative, It’s better than be in your head all the time with constant chatter. Hard Mercury Uranus transits might be much worse than Pluto.

Long time ago somebody with natal Mercury Uranus said it’s hard to shut off brain. I thought I knew what it was...

Mercury is one of the few planets that Uranus doesn’t aspect in my chart, but I have trouble at times. I’m getting better at turning it off again, or down - it used to be things like drawing.
