My ascendant is in 16 degrees Pisces. Neptune is already conjunct my ascendant point.Last outer planet that transited my ascendant was Uranus and its effect was a horrible one. Sorry I am very straightforward. This was just my own experience and there were probably other things planet transits affecting me too. But I am not going to talk about the Uranus transit right now in detail it would be too long! It was extremely overwhelming and life changing. Words are not good enough to describe it. I mean to say, I know how huge the effect of an outer planet on transiting one's ascendant is. If you have an Aquarius ascendant or an early Pisces ascendant or if your older and have already gone through Neptune transit ascendant/first house please let me know your experience! I really prefer people's personal experiences over what it says on the internet. A lot of astrologers just don't know and make up the meaning of this transit according to what to them sounds the most reasonable. In that case, I can do the same thing! I can just think "oh it might mean that when Neptune transits an ascendant it mean the person will become more "dreamy", "imaginative", "take drugs", "be delusional", be "spiritual". These all words are associated with Neptune and just putting these words together to describe such an important transit phase does not do anything. As a person who knows astrology really well I know what Neptune is about, I have a pretty good idea. But going through the transit of Neptune in 1st house has to be an extremely strong experience. I would like to know your experience, whether it was negative or positive, just say the truth about how it felt, I will really appreciate that. Thank you so much. By the way I am an astrologer and if you have any questions about your chart/placements you can ask that too and I will be more than happy to answer. ------------------ Professional modern psychological, ancient Babylonian, Vedic, medieval Arabic and esoteric astrologer. Good points. Any planet in transit to your Asc will be colored by and activate aspect figures by other planets to your natal Asc. However, personal experiences in turn will be colored by that person's own chart features. Also, many people's charts are simply not accurate enough at the Asc to correctly time transits to it, thus leading to misappropriation of life events to a transit that has already occurred or not yet occurred. The single best sources for transit interpretation is Planets in Transit by Robert Hand. I've scoured such books for most of two decades. No other text on the topic even comes close. You should be able to pick up a copy of it used for a good price. In my own words I can tell you that this transit will involve some degree of doubt and resurgence of dreams (waking or sleeping). The purpose is cleansing for those who have been carrying too great a burden of accumulation of negative experiences or too much material concern, including cleansing one of excess ego (where the doubt comes in); also re-acquaintance with the importance of the creative imagination in how we perceive and respond to life. ------------------ The Declinations Guy: precise modern scientific astrology > Expert birth chart rectification > Rising Sign Descriptions ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

Thanks for your input kannon I will try to check that book out. Hopefully it goes how you explained because it sounds good. But I thought Neptune is also the planet of nostalgia, could it also mean that it makes you unproductive and mourning or thinking too much about past memories? Things like "what could have happened if" "what if I go back to the past" I'm already a Pisces ascendant and I'm tired of being pathetic/too emotional. IP: Logged |

Not quite. Nostalgia is Moon/Saturn. quote:

If what you're describing is a sort of regret, then this could be partly Neptune's influence. Missed opportunities. I know what this is like (Venus opposite Neptune in my natal). I often failed to act upon potential relationships with women who made it clear they were interested in me. Even though I'm happily married now, I still sometimes have those kinds of thoughts. Best to forgive ourselves for it, whatever it was, and move on. I understand there can be mourning for what could have been, but if it was some error of omission, it may not have been better had you acted any differently. You could role play through re-imagining it the way you'd like it to have been, thus turning it into a healing process. Just don't drift in it. Rather than wandering around in it wondering about what could have been, make it different, imagine it better in your mind. Give yourself some time and space to do it, then move on. ------------------ The Declinations Guy: precise modern scientific astrology > Expert birth chart rectification > Rising Sign Descriptions ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

So far it has been an amazing time. I have Ascendant 17 Pisces. Sometime in December 2016, I became born again. I dove intensely into Christianity and the bible, changed my entire life, had amazing highs and lows. Because I was struggling with serious recurring doubts and questions that were not answered, I studied the apologetics, trying to understand this religion with my mind instead of just having blind faith. I gave it my all. Finally, I had to honor my doubts. I had too. So I shed Christianity and swore never to get myself into any man made religion. I do not mean to put down Christianity. There was beauty and grace in my Christian experience because to me, God is present in every religion. I just think it is not suitable for me. I think Supreme Divinity does not belong to any man or any group exclusively. I have been feeling much better ever since. Yes there are highs and lows, but not as extreme as before. They are the normal ebb and flow of life. I am feeling connected to the Divine more strongly than ever, without all the guilt tripping, man made religious limitations that are put on our human experience. My work/career has literally taken off. My income has doubled. My romantic life has progressed in ways I never thought possible. It is a very good time for me. I still look at astrology and the stars, but not obsessively. I go long stretches without checking where the planets are and what they are doing. They do not rule my life. ETA: In 2021, my Jupiter and Neptune chart rulers met again in a rare 172 year conjunction, and around that time, I returned to Christianity. IP: Logged |

That sounds great, but it means you were already feeling the effects before neptune went over your ascendant? I also have my ascendant in Pisces around 17 degrees (closer to 18) and the orb becomes smaller in 2019, so should be definitely feeling it by then. I do see I have an interesting solar return chart for 2019 and if Neptune going over the AC is bringing big changes, than I'm looking forward to it, because neptune in the 12th was really not good. Very much an isolation period. How did you all experience this? I think the interpretation of Neptune conjunct the ascendant should perhaps be seen in the context of it coming out of the darkness of the 12th? So, should hopefully be a good change and bringing the positive out of Neptune.. I'm into a guy who's about to experience neptune going over his DS btw. I hope us coming together will be the result of these big changes

pisces rising neptune capricorn conjunct sun, conjunct uranus trine jupiter in 10th house natalJust looked up my transit forecast and neptune will be conjunct my ascendant the first week of may. I have a 27 degree pisces rising. This makes so much sense now because as it was close to my asc while its been in my 12th house I have felt completely lost, since like the year 2020! Coincidentally right when the pandemic struck. Ive always blamed all of these lost feelings on the pandemic and having to find new ways of income/having to stop my passion but im realizing now that it must have been neptune. I’ve always wondered how people have been able to pretty much pick up where they left off after the madness of the pandemic settled and I never have. This makes so much sense now i’ve completely changed my image. I use to be a “fitness inspo” my image and life was all fitness related but I felt like I had to dissolve that and delete everything associated with it. I felt like I had to leave that profession and start something completely new which I have. I came to face with a lot of negatives/darkness associated with that industry as well which made me confused and opposed to it. Very confusing time as I thought I had found my purpose in life. Neptune shows up and says NOPE. Got experimental career wise as I started to become very confused before I decided to start my own business which I am still running to this day. Been 2 years now. I also became pregnant around my confused time, changed my priorities started to hide from the world whereas before I was a constant presence on social media and the community… and if anything my close relationships/family have now became better as they have become more important to me Interesting now though being neptune is about to conjunct my ascendant…I feel like I’ve already experienced the severe confusion lol hopefully with it transiting into the first will this bring clarity? sense of im finally going in the right direction? i still have doubts from time to time from leaving my original fitness career (neptune capricorn) maybe ill finally be able to let these doubts go? I guess we shall see but hopefully most of the intense transformation has already been done because it feels like its been freakin years! IP: Logged |

^^^^It feels like it's been freakin years because (I think for you) it has.I am curious as to how life changed (if at all) when Neptune started in Pisces in 2011 April 04? The 1st house represents the body and what we tangibly define as "I". Things that we point at which stand out glaringly as "me". It is the priority area and "first response" point. And can also point to a situation/issue that warrants our immediate attention and/or response. Typically, the 1st house and planet there is also about the default lense we look through which informs expression. It is the unrehearsed, unfiltered, minute to minute spontaneous action NOW. The planet there and adjoining themes, is where a bulk of our attention will go to. For instance, Mercury transiting house 1 will have the effect of us seeing the multifaceted aspect of a subject matter I.e. the details within it. And it then can inspire us to think on our feet or be very resourceful in coming up with "in the moment" responses to a situation. Flexibility with Mercury is important. As is the ability to incorporate information as it comes OR improvise. Notice this with Mercury angular transits i.e especially those that square, opp or conj your Asc degree point. This time will usually be a time where there is focus on Mercurial areas i.e. details, problem solving, improvising etc. You may have a lot of problems to solve around the time of Mercury aspecting Asc. Clerical issues, admin issues, travel issues etc. So ingenuity (which the planet promotes) is needed to navigate such times. Likewise then, Nep coming into house 1 brings with it a focus on Neptunian issues. Neptune likes detachment from anything solid, rigid or fixed, blurrs boundaries, opens up the capacity for vulnerability and dissolves the ability to think chronologically or laterally, whilst expanding cross-sectional perceiving and "knowing". It does increase the imagination and with that, heightened emotional reactions that can border on mental impressionability or psychic sensitivity. When Neptune transits Asc, "reality" starts to dissolve. One becomes aware of the open-ended nature of many things around them as well as those within. Notice how you become less clear when talking and more "poetic" or cryptic to others? Maybe they'll ask you to repeat what you just said? Find it difficult to really understand what you mean with your message? This to a point where you get exhausted and end up saying "never mind"? You will be using the latter word a lot. Also likely with this transit is isolation. Either physical isolation because of being in a foreign place/country? In hospital because of an illness that is either physiological or mental? Or in prison? A rehabilitation centre? Or spiritual place where retreat from the hussle and bustle of society is necessary? Or it could be an emotional isolation of loss. Loss of someone dear to you I.e. a friend, a parent, a lover/spouse? Maybe it's your career? Possession? Or even zest for life? Whichever it is, as you face this isolation, Neptune will give you a sense of separation from others , as you find it increasingly difficult to find someone who understands you. For many , it's a painful time indeed. But with this separation trauma, comes a deep realization and compassion for everyone. This as you realize that behind the many layered faces we all put on,many of us are lonely. Neptune will give you the ability to look through others and realize their vulnerabilities. But paradoxically make others seem very complex too. As you view others this way, they also view you in the same way(Neptune opp Dsc). So they either extend their arms to merge with you and share in the compassion. Or they see you as a "sucker" they can pull a wool over and take advantage of. Be careful of the latter.☝🏿 as they(in many instances) come dressed as meek sheep. Anger/rage/fury/passion etc. Tend to dissolve to passivity and sometimes indifference. You may give much of what you own away as the value of it dissolves in your eyes. And also possible, is the romanization of death. There could be increasing disenchantment or disengagement from life through depression or outright apathy. This is the first wave of Neptune energy. The 2nd is the realization that "nothing really matters. Love is all we need." Then the last is accepting ones humanhood and vulnerability as something beautiful and not to be hidden. IP: Logged |
