I have Scorpio ascent, sun, moon, Mercury and Neptune in my first house. But I still don't quite understand the first house, it's actually the house that seems the least important to me, yet it has more planets in it than any other in my chart. Anyway, I am interested in how Jupiter's transit might affect me and hearing thoughts on the first house implications. I'm very new here and hope this isn't a rude request. Thank you!

Having lots of planets in house 1 could have one focus a lot on their image. How they come across is very important.

One could go through many image makeovers, have identity issues, take what they wear seriously etc. All in an effort to be more their authentic self and live in an "open" fashion-not "hiding" etc.

"I want to be me", "Express myself" , "be who I want to be" are catch phrases i associate with House 1.

Thank you, that's the so on target! Wish I had met you years ago, have felt like a lost soul/misfit for most of my life.

Well when Jupiter transited my Cancer Ascendant about three years ago I lost weight which is odd since Jupiter usually causes weight GAIN, especially over your Ascendant which represents your physical body. You might lose weight and change your appearance, maybe adopting a darker wardrobe and becoming more mysterious.

Thank you for the replies & the kind welcome! It's interesting that the biggest effects seem to be regarding physical appearance, for once Im pretty good with that and don't foresee making any changes there. But who can't loose 5 lbs???
