Thats just the sign . You have to look a the aspects it makes to other planets, angles. The house. House ruler and its aspects. Transits, progressions etc IP: Logged |

Yeah but with one guy his Venus isn't compatible with my Mars sign so I should be worried? IP: Logged |

I wouldn't be too worried about it tbh. I think house overlays are honestly more powerful than aspects alone. I have my Venus exactly conjunct my boyfriend's best friend's Mars in Virgo. I feel no attraction to him whatsoever. I think he's good-looking, but he doesn't appeal to me very much. I also had my Mars conjunct my one friend's Venus. Yes, I was physically attracted to him--literally would have banged him if I was single. But other than that, I realize there was really nothing more to it. We were too different. My boyfriend, however, his Venus in Gemini exactly conjunct my ascendant and completes my air grand trine in my natal. High romantic attraction. His Mars in Cancer is in my 1st house. My Mars in his 5th. Sexual attraction, even in the beginning. Not rip your pants off kind of type but more so a "you excite me" kind of thing. My Moon is in his 1st conjunct his Mars. Sexual attraction to procreate. His Moon is in my 7th, opposite my Moon. We see a future with each other. It's all about the synastry and house placements. Of course, you don't want a chart full of just oppositions and squares, but good house overlays are a start. IP: Logged |

Do 7th house overlays in synastry always indicate marriage between two people? IP: Logged |

Not necessarily. It depends on the planets. Planets in someone's 7th house just triggers them to think of the person as an ideal mate. I think personal planets in someone's 7th house are more indicative of marriage, especially if there's a lot of good interaspects and Moon and Saturn contacts. I remember having a crush on this guy in 3rd grade. His Sun in Sag was in my 7th house conjunct my DSC. I had fantasies of getting married to him. But the rest of our charts didn't match. Our Moons were unaspected and there were barely any Saturn contacts. It died down eventually. Uranus in the 7th house, for example, might indicate "love at first sight" on the house person's part. They may feel the same effect of idealizing the planet person as spouse material but the relationship might not last. It could sizzle down as quickly as it started. IP: Logged |

Well you were right about men being attracted to their Mars sign. The Mars in Cancer guy said he likes that I'm a full figured woman. IP: Logged |

So I'm guessing he probably likes her more than he likes me? Even though I'm the one who helps him out financially because currently he is going through a rough time. Sometimes I feel like just ending our friendship if he likes her more.
I hope he is not using you.. IP: Logged |

I offered to help him because I found out he was homeless and because he helps me with my academics. I just didn't like the idea of him being homeless with no food. If it were me I'd want someone to help me. He kind of has issues it's a lot involved in the situation. IP: Logged |

i hear you and i agree in the sense that whatever touch our mars triggers the meaning on mars in u; sexuality, anger, physical activity... what i do not find it is the "i like you".. the original question of venus was venus in gemini like slim woman... mars in gemini do not say how slim the man like a woman. he may feel desired for her, but does not mean she is his type.... have you ever been sexually atracte but not finding the man your physical type?
