Will this affect my job? I am so confused as to how this retrograde thing works. I only know of the effects on relationships. IP: Logged |

It's gonna be in my 5th house and will conjunct my Mars by the end of the retrograde.

According to this article, the Venus Shadow periods don't have as much of an effect (as Mercury transits do). 5th House, Romance?? Okay.. If I had to guess? Don't fall for office-environment temptations to start any hot-affairs with any employees/coworkers you'd strangely feel smitten-by or attracted to--- (or if *they* become magnetically attracted to you--- while on this new job during that period and afterwards. Another speculation-- only if he's prone to it? Your boyfriend could or might get a wave of jealousy or suspicion, unconsciously, with your meeting new people he doesn't know about? .. You could try to make sure that *he* is all right. Give him extra attention? .. Knowing this transit IN ADVANCE could help you immediately detect this energy in him, even before he would start reacting to it? Be reassuring. Make sure *he* gets enough attention.. If little squabbles arise, that "make-up sex" could be extra-fine!! LOL ?? tVenus Scorpio --> Mars Scorpio?? Do some pre-emptive extra sexual-activity attention? quote: excerpt The shadow period is not so important with Venus retrograde. It’s effect will be very subtle as it is stretched over a longer period of time than Mercury’s shadow zone. It does mean however Venus will spend a lot longer in a sector of your chart than usual, and work like an outer planet. The effects mentioned in this article will be felt much stronger if you have natal planets in Venus’s path. If you are in a relationship, any unresolved gripes might come to a head at the actual retrograde when Venus hits the planet a second time, but they should be resolved by the time the Venus Direct reaches the post-shadow degree. Keep an ephemeris close to hand.- By Marina, posted January 28, 2018 - http://darkstarastrology.com/venus-retrograde/

[/B][/QUOTE]He has been dealing with a lot of anxiety and depression lately, and has been turning to drugs to escape. Thankfully, I keep an eye out on him and he's very careful with them even when he takes them. I have been there for him, supporting him all the way. He has been feeling better now but I don't know what else will happen in the next few months. He is going back for his 2nd year in school. He will also have Venus Rx transiting his 5th house and maybe 6th. I do, however, feel the effects of Venus preparing for retrograde. As much as I hate to admit, I have been having thoughts and temptations of some sort that I wish didn't exist. He did say to me in the beginning of the year that he feels like I'm gonna do something with this one old friend of mine. I've cut off any sort of close relationship with the said friend and I have assured him constantly it's not gonna happen. I know that I don't know what's gonna happen in the future for sure, but at least I had this talk with myself. It's gonna come in handy if the situation ever arises. It's good to know it's not gonna affect much of my work. I just recently quit my old job that was draining the life out of me. I hope this new one will be the one to teach me so I can build upon the foundations of my career. IP: Logged |
