I have just come across the draconic chart method and I am amazed how it fills in quite a few blanks for me that I had concerning my natal and I can identify very much..

However, I have also noticed that the synastry of my natal and draconic is full of squares and oppositions since every planet in my draconic chart is 90 degrees farther than the natal planet... there is actually just red aspects that are created by the overlay of those charts.

Just a few examples:

sun sq. sun (tau - leo)
moon sq. moon (vir - sag)
venus sq. venus (tau - leo)
mars sq. mars (ari - can)
(...)

From what I've read, your draconic chart will only (kinda) be the same when you already have your north node in (or near) aries, so that should apply to you?

But that also means that your "true untouched soul self" is the same self that you have come to represent in this life (that was shaped by your environment).. which is actually considered a good thing, since it means you are actually more in touch with your soul self and there is less of a dissonance..

In a video on YT someone said that while other people need to reconnect with their draconic chart, people with similar natal and draconic just need to get to know themselves more fully (through their natal) because they already are what they are supposed to be!

well it's a little different from my tropical (my nn is in aries though yeah) but it's almost exactly my sidereal because i have a 28 degree pisces nn in that

in sidereal im leo sun, virgo rising (virgo venus conjunct), pisces moon, cancer mercury, sag mars

draconic it's the same right down to the kite in my chart not changing and even being right by my nodes still

interesting way of looking at it though, i appreciate the explanation

ive found draconic hard to study since the information is so limited and i had only looked at my chart and my fiancee's in it and we both have aries nn and it matches our sidereals so it never occurred to me to dig deeper

The aspects between the planets don’t change (so your kite naturally wouldn’t) and their positions in the houses don’t change either .. the only thing that (usually) changes are the signs

So do you relate more to your sidereal / draconic Chart or to your tropical natal?
And when you discovered your natal / sidereal did you feel like it matched your personality? Since your draconic is kinda similar, it should have felt quite right for you?
You are right that if your draconic doesn’t change the planets signs very much, you might not gain new insight from it but 11 out of 12 people will because of the changes that will occur for them.

Surprisingly, most info I could found was at tumblr. If you are interested you can simply look for „draconic astrology or chart“ and find quite a few results.
