Apologies for dropping off! I received a commission for an embroidery, with rather a tight deadline, and it's kind of hard to do anything else while embroidering. Thank you for explaining the processes of odd and even harmonics Graham, that does indeed make sense. I suppose my difficulties with the yod and other similar unfolding/evolving aspects is my tendency to live in the present. While I am sensitive to patterns in the outer reality we live in I don't tend to have a very clear and objective view of my own inner processes. It's why I need astrology and other such tools to view myself through. But from a personal point of view I don't care much for what has been or what will be. I am generally only interested in what I am in the present moment. So longer processes of development go unnoticed or even ignored for the most part. That's also the reason why I have very little interest in transits, perhaps to my detriment... And lacking the interest I just don't have the motivation for research in that direction. Thank you also for the tip about Astrodienst having a 'without aspect lines' feature. I had not realised! That is indeed more convenient. Though I do love the craft of drawing a chart by hand, it can get tedious if oft repeted. IP: Logged |
