As in, longer than many people stay servicing the same company; let’s say, more than 4 years of service?------------------ Cancer Rising 2nd House Leo Sun 3rd House Leo Mercury 6th House Sagittarius Moon & Pluto 1st House Cancer Venus & Mars 9th House Pisces Jupiter conjunct MC. IP: Logged |

Haha! This is probably me! Pure speculation, but I wonder if the 6th House might be involved as it involves being of service to others. I've got Sun, Venus and Mercury there which I guess might mean I get a lot out of being of service to others. Then again, it might be the fact my Mars is conjunct Neptune - meaning I spend too much time dreaming of things and not actually doing them! So many factors that might account for it, I guess. And it depends on the nature of the job. If someone with a particular inclination in their chart finds a job that caters for it, I imagine they'd be inclined to stick around. I like the fact I can be creative in my job - and every time I've got itchy feet the organisation I work for has put me on to a new challenge which has tempted me to stay. IP: Logged |

I do not yet (and may never) have an explanation for why ... but people with septile aspects* involving Saturn and a personal planet seem to stay in relationships for longer than (perhaps) is in their best interests. And ... in some cases ... that reluctance to leave an employer/lover/friend/dependant/bookmaker/moneylender or other kind of relationship/"situation" contains an element of masochism or/and addiction. Eventually though ... some progression or/and transit activates the septile - bringing the realisation that the situation needs to end, and the (unconscious) 'higher self" seems to somehow find a way to ensure that it does so. [*Septile aspects include the 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, 35th, 42nd, 49th and 56th harmonic aspects. ... However, the higher the harmonic aspect number, the less conscious the chart owner will be of the related behavioural trait in himself or herself.] IP: Logged |

Tarrus suns and moons...1) They can be slow to adapt. 2) Won't accept many changes to there environment. 3) Have the stamina to put up with the BS at a workplace for years. Next I'd say Virgo for blind loyalty and Scorpio for always ending up in some kind of "cesspit" of a workplace and not being satisfied until they clean up the mess. NOTE: ------- I'm now expecting a Taurus Sun or Moon to reply and refute everything I said above, lol. Have to agree with Taurus placements and disagree with MC in fixed signs. IP: Logged |

That's me for sure, but I couldn't point to the specific aspect or placement that makes it so.I'd rather be at the same workplace for the rest of my career if I can. I just like the status quo of it all, and I really enjoy my work. I'm on my 6th year of employment right now, fingers crossed for 35 more years! Probably would be hesitant to leave my workplace even if I didn't enjoy it. Better the devil you know... MC in Cancer, conjunct Mercury and Mars, opposite Neptune. Sun in Gemini 9th, opposite Saturn. Moon in Virgo 12th. Venus in Taurus 8th, biseptile Saturn. IP: Logged |

I agree with Taurus and Earth MCs. I would also consider the progressed chart. As a Gemini MC, I can't fathom how people spend their entire lives at the same workplace or even in the same profession. IP: Logged |
