Trying to get into the mood for this holiday. 2018 was the one time in years, that I felt like we had a nice little build-up, after a mostly crappy year (and decade). We went on a candle-lit church walk on the first Sunday in December, adopted our dog the next day - the sweetest, that day I was exhausted, and I dropped off briefly on the couch. I woke up in a rush of anxiety, wondering where he was - and he rushed to get up from the floor, right next to the couch. Now he can't walk. I keep having these bouts of crying. He is eqating and drinking (a lot), loves his ice cream with colostrum and plain pedialyte added. But he can't lift himself up to a sitting position anymore. we've got to find a way to build him up.

I also cut myself, when I was trying to bake, and I bought a cheap food processor, because we forgot to order a replacement lid for my little kitchenaid food processor. I admit, the kitchenaid is better. I wish we'd remembered to replace that lid. If I can find the receipt, this one is going back. Anyway, I cut up a hydro-seal plaster, and put it on the cut that was gushing for a while. Ugh.
