I am a bad learner if someone tries to teach me verbally and visually. It feels like they're pushing unnecessary information - even if not.I start with things I feel is right, and ask questions along the way and add it to my knowledge. So perhaps a self-learner. My way of learning isn't linear - pretty scattered. Learning bits here and there and put them together like a puzzle. Eventually becomes... concrete and I iterate - re-learning to see if I have new perspective to add in my brain. School was a nightmare, esp the subject relating to English and History. How I see English and History was rather limiting. Memorization without allowing to think freely and English has too many rules even with creative writing. Also the teachers teaching method suits for the majority - which doesn't fit my learning style.
But I love solving math equations (not word problems, the description confuse me) - however I self study for them.
Science and Art were fun because you get to do hands on projects. I learn by observing and doing it myself and ask questions last or along the way - which isnt much supported in the real world and seen as a slow learner. libra mercury, actually i can never relate to it on learning maybe cuz it's 29 degree?? haha, i do think it makes me talk in a "curved ball" style coming off less aggressive, helps with compositions or poem analyse...what i do relate to is virgo mars & gem jupiter in their own house, so always stress when not holding a book&study (which always leads to repeated studying the same pages again and again), and revising will be enhanced if it's interesting, always jumping btw subjects, eventually get things done, i'm not stressed on my learning ability hahah one pt to add is libra mercury (and its stellium) makes me lazy, yea prob the major pt is laziness, sorry if this is not related to the topic lol IP: Logged |

I'm more into Humans subjects than Hard Science stuff (maybe my Sagittarius rising?). Also, philosophy and super theoretics texts are my thing. I'm not the talkative type, but my mind is crazy, always talking to itself . I used to like to write (and loved literature), today i have not much time for it. I always had an easy time learning other languages and i think it's a fun thing in itself. My memory is usually really good as well.
Hmm a Gemini Mercury conjunct Gemini Mars, who's NOT the talkative type? Interesting! IP: Logged |

Mercury in Cancer 2nd House. I'm No learner. It is very hard to learn anything. Most things I know are naturally within me. A Good learner always has advantages. She/He can learn anything at anytime and can achieve anything in this world. Wish I had that. Unfortunately not. That's why I'm a less than a average person. I can't be a Superman. 😢IP: Logged |

in addition to the mercury sign, it is helpful to know the sign on the cusp of the 3rd house which I think rules learning.Self teaching: I have Mercury in Libra and I like to learn both sides of an issue so I can make an unbiased decision, and my Mercury exactly sextile Jupiter, so I am rather drawn to things I find elevating, and I easily learn what i set my mind on learning. Teaching by others: The sign on the cusp of my 3rd house is Taurus. The stuff someone teaches me must have practical applications or my eyes start glazing over. It also makes me a tactile learner. Don't just tell me how to do it, let me experience it myself, I learn as I do, not as I am told. IP: Logged |

Mercury in Aquarius, I love to learn about everything & anything! Especially astronomy and History. I'm a very visual learner also, very hands on. I tend to learn quickly, if something doesn't interest me much, I'll still learn the heck out of it because it can be useful you'll never know lol. I pay attention to detail a lot too.. too many questions come to mind when im learning something, wayyyy too many questions and different ideas come to mind when im learning a subject, like why do you have to learn it that way? cant you make it more simple by learning it this way? lol ahhIP: Logged |

Mercury Conjunct Mars here. It really depends on the circumstances. Right now due to COVID I try not to say much to anyone other then the most generic of things. Much better and smarter to keep it to myself on what I really think. Saves me the hassle having not to argue with people, people have gone crazy and the social structure we once had has been slighty altered. Anyway sticking with the topic. Mercury in Gemini, I'm very much an observant and logical thinker that tries to connect the dots.
