In the case of Gemini and Scorpio ... Gemini often loves the informational depths that Scorpio thrives in exploring, and Scorpio readily appreciates the lightness that Gem can bring to any topic- no matter how dark.

Scorpio is Gemini's 6th house- and Gemini energy loves another Mercury ruled house, the intensity of day to day to keep them busy.

As long as you don't do things your not suppose or if you do screw up just honestly fess up.

When I was 8 I broke my scorpio aunts CD player. I knew her work schedule and for an entire year I just avoided her then out of the blue she comes home early and confronts me.

I was honest and fessed up, I was expecting her to ring my neck.

I owe my BSc Computer Science Honours degree to a Scorpio who was gifted at discrete mathematics and computational geometry.

The one required course that I could never crack was upper year Computational Geometry.

She came in helped me and made time for me for outside of class time. She was also the TA ..and she understood how difficult the course was.

Turns out my mars trines her moon.. but I never pursued anything.

But I think we felt comfortable together.

I told her you'd be great as a math teacher because your not intimidating to ask questions.

She's now pursuing to become a math prof.

I treat her like a close female friend, especially at the time when she had very few to no male friends.

You are RIGHT. I am an Aquarius marry a Gemini, but Leo, the attraction is so unbelievable SUPERBBBBbbbbbbbb and probably the one that stuck in my head.

Been married for 30 + years but it’s a volatile deal..

Dad is easygoing with a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor and mom is more serious (has a Cap Asc too) and doesn’t really like that kinda of stuff. It’s very easy to step on her toes..

One of the things my dad likes about mom is that she never lies and she kinda says what she feels/thinks. He trusts her.

I'm willing to bet he knows her enough that he knows what her reactions are and what not to say or do unless you want her to think that her toes have been steeped on.

A Gemini knows what a Scorpio will do from a logical perspective, a Scorpio will know what a Gemini will do from an intuitive perspective.

In a way they'll trust each other because they just know what the other person is going to do next..

The other reason why I think there is a unlikely attraction is because Scorpio always wants to be domineering and in control.

I think Gemini is the only sign a Scorpio can't no matter what they try and Gemini will always find away to evade.

There's always an attraction towards something you can't have.

Keep in mind as well the mythology between their rulers. Mercury (Hermes) was the only one of the Gods who could freely come and go from the Underworld (Pluto), passing information and souls between the realms.

Technically Hermes wasn't the only god aside from Hades who went to the underworld, Dionysus did as well (and unlike Hermes brought someone back, successfully so also unlike Orpheus who wasn't a god anyway)

That being said the one Gemini/Scorpio relationship I can think of was my ex's mother and a guy she was with for a long time. It was a weird love/hate thing they had going on and they got along well at first and it became convenience based later until it descended into domestic violence issues.
