My 12th house sign, hmm, well, I don't always get along with them too well.My aunt has many people around her who have the sign of her 12th house of enemies. She thinks they're all fine and good but they lie to her behind her back and lie about her. She has no idea sadly and doesn't believe it if you tell her. So what about you, is your 12th house sign usually an enemy for you? Or not sure? IP: Logged |

I agree with Ami Anne.
It isn't that clear cut. The subconscious is largely what is involved with the 12th. In truth these secrets and or enemies, we may hide from ourselves. Intuition can go ignored or self medicating can deaden it. - we may doubt own intuition. Sometimes we are our own worse enemies as well. The ruler of your twelfth may indicate how you might be the target of an enemy. *If you are. This isn't always going to be a concern for everyone. In many cases in transits, the degrees of that house sometines have been involved.
Find the ruling planet and examine all parts of your wheel. Transits might be the areas to keep in mind. What energy is in your 12th?
If you have cause for concern, they may say something.
I forgot, mine is Scorpio, I adore them. Never had one give me trouble. - in the sense I would feel they were an enemy or out to get me.
*A last thought* Scorpio rules sex, sexual organs etc. I wouldn't say I had a secret enemy of Scorpios but sexual predators, yes. That might be a Plutonian energy - which is the planet that rules my 12th.

My 12th is Pisces and I don’t have any problems with them.

I think the issue is 12h people have the -power- to ruin us - because we either tell them stuff we don't tell others or they see us transparently somehow, but we don't 'see' them (see OP's example of never believing so-and-so is a bad actor) so we aren't aware of just how much firepower they have.Fortunately, being in someones 12th makes you extremely sympathetic. You remember the honeymoon phase of them what felt like baring their soul to you, then the bad stuff of you feeling not seen, heard, etc as a person is 'forgiven because you're like "**** , they've been through so much, they deal with -a lot- - they're just doing their best trying to survive life". Of course, this does not prevent a hard ******* from being vengeful - but my point is 12h itself does not confer animosity. IP: Logged |

Hmm, interesting! Do you think it could have anything to do with what ESSSC said, about them perhaps not being seen in their full intentions? Not that they're bad to you but could it also be a blind spot for some?

@ESSSSSCI think it can go the other way around too.Especially if you have placements there and have an understanding of the sign.My chart ruler Mars and my NN are Pisces.
My anger towards them is temporary because I always see their more vulnerable side.I can’t stay mad at them for long and I can’t bring myself to see them as bad people who are out to get me. IP: Logged |

I think the 12th house sign makes someone your hidden and low-key enemy almost like Cassius to Caesar. Makes sense since the 12th house sign is the sign before your ascendant and each sign builds off of the previous one. As a result, your enemy may be jealous of you having things they wish they had.IP: Logged |

Taurus 12th house. Venus in 9th conjuct neptune. I hide my beliefs from people (9th house?) I am very materialistic and frugal, can't spend any money for myself but can act generous toward the loved ones. I have fear of being broke and my biggest dream is to be rich (12th house dreams? taurus?)
When I act greedy and materialistic I always lose something (time, health, opportunity, relationships etc). So you can say that my greed and hunger for more money is my worst enemy.
I have taurus sun friends and I don't think they are my secret enemy. Maybe they (Taurus Sun and Mars friends) make me a little stubborn and stuck but still they are close friends.

I know someone who's moon and mars is in my 12th and my sun, mars and Uranus is in their 12th. It was very spiritual. We hide how we feel about each other though & we're unsure about the other. IP: Logged |

Well, I get in! I don't know if it's strange or not (based on some of your answers maybe it isn't) but i have a Gemini 12th house cusp and actually had some troubles with geminis. When I was younger most of my childhood friends were geminis or had gemini rising and i totally loved them (I'm a libra sun), but as I grew up I started to realize that lot of them gossiped behind my back, and I didn't like it at all. My ex bf was also a gemini and it took time for me to realize his behaviors were hurting me and keeping me from growing up.
I now realize that i have NO troubles with people with gemini venus in my 12th house, gemini sun there is MEH, but what i actually can't stand is MARS there. It's a no go, which is also strange since i have a leo mars in my 2nd house.
Also,my ex's mars was in cancer (still in my 12th) and i really HATED that our discussions were just endless misunderstandings.
Btw, as I said i have no trouble in forming friendships with people with their moon or venus in my 12th and actually love them a lot ❤️
Also, I seem to attract a lot of people with their chiron near my ascendant, still in my 12th and I love them! Is there some explanation about it? I thought chiron conj ascendant was... Bad? IP: Logged |

I feel like it's definitely possible but not necessarily probable. Take for example extreme cases...someone who lives as a hermit or a shut-in or like, a do-gooder who doesn't really have any enemies, or even someone insanely lucky to the point that people's bad intentions just seem to gloss off of them. Long explanation but I don't think it's unrealistic to say some people just don't have enemies or literally don't care and that lack of regard makes them 'immune.' So, taking that into account, I feel like this is the house where we tend to attract people who have the qualities of the sign on the cusp and/or the planets within or a blend of the two because we don't fully understand and embrace that energy within. And sometimes, that can be unpleasant and awkward or even traumatic, so we think 'This person is my enemy' without realizing that they're reflecting our own self-undoing behaviors. It's very karmic. Oceansofstars  I have mostly good connections with my 12th house's sun buddies, except for one person I had to sue in court, and who consequently does not like me very much. Edit: coming to think of it, the sags I know have yet their suns in my 11th house and not in the 12th... and I also have my part of fortune in the 11th house in sag. IP: Logged |

I looked up and saw he has a Mars-Uranus opposition that squares my sun. So that could be something, right? I was not the only one to sue him, though. I think that's definitely something. I was seriously thinking Sun-Mars so that makes a ton of sense. I can also see how the Uranus aspect thrown in would add to the sudden + shocking nature of this challenge. I don't know his exact time of birth, so I can't tell that about his chart.
The other man born in the same date, with which I had a beneficial relationship, has had probably a different moon sign, the moon changing signs on that day and the two men having been different. But the Mars-Uranus opposition is still there. Perhaps, having a different ascendant, the opposition takes place in different houses in the second man's chart, and I don't know, maybe it also makes a difference in our synastry, the opposition might be more internal and shake things less between us. Or this being a different kind of relationship, and so goverened by a different house and other aspects. IP: Logged |
