It got me thinking about my own "entanglements" with Leo (as a Sag male) and my experiences in this pairing.And why Leo has seldom been a viable option for dating or long term prospects.

The Leo's I've known have been quite INTENSE.I have Scorpio placements in my chart but the Leos nature overwhelmed me considerably.😐

They each had a "fixed" quality about them. Granted that they all either had a fixed Moon or Cap Moon. And always that air of "permanence" that made me feel uncomfortable and claustrophobic. This was the 1st drawback.

What others may have interpreted as "consistency".I saw as "stubbornness". What others saw as being "rooted". I saw as "inflexible". And I think that that is the nature of mutables perhaps? 🤔Not wanting things to feel too "fixed"? Mutables y'all can chime in. But I have since looked for more flexible partners. Don't be too intense!

As a Sag, I need a lightness of touch (this even in a permanent relationship). There must always be (at the very least) that 'illusion' of freedom and things not being that 'death-like' serious. But that's not what I felt when I was with all of them.

I felt judged if I said or did something they felt was not "befitting" of their mate to say/do. And so some of my spontaneity was stifled because I didn't want to do anything to them to get the "death" stare. Or icy withdrawal that would last for weeks.

This past weekend,the one I had the most intense standoffs with(Leo Sun/Sco Moon) sent me a message asking me about my life and what I have been up to.

I told him that I am currently doing well and seeing a great guy (Aries).And as the conversation went deeper,it went towards our past relationship and he asked me why we never became permanent?

I said that in all honesty he felt like an anchor that I didn't want. That I felt stifled and scared of him when we were together because I didn't want to be subjected to his cold stares and subsequent long and drawn out "punishments" for not "towing" the line etc.

He apologized and said he didn't know that that was how I felt. I told him that that was always what I would fight with him about.But he never listened. He was too intense, too obstinate, too demanding. And I couldn't deal. It felt like our relationship was an everyday power struggle.😶

I have not consciously objected to dating a Leo since. But I notice that none of my romantic interests have any Leo planets. Let alone Sun in Leo. So perhaps I am not attracted to the energy?

I think for him, the necessity of drawing boundaries is even more important. Pisces can be easily influenced by more forceful personalities and act self sacrificial in the name of "love"( martyrdom is a favourite thing to succumb to for a Pisces Ven)

Water yearns to merge and find their strength through merging and becoming "one" with the other. That is how they show love ime.

However, I think that this Leo interpreted that need to "merge" as a sign of "weakness". And then used it against him to get him to do what she wanted.

Some Leo/Sco combinations are on a power trip. Not all ofcourse (as there are various other factors in the chart that have to be considered).

What I do know about my experience with Leo is; as much as they like to control. They don't want to be given the reigns too easily. They actually like a bit of "resistance".

When I was with the Leo mentioned, I used to resist ALL the time. And it seemed that whilst I thought I was killing the attraction and he would desist on pushing me and break up. He instead became more fixated in getting me to "submit" and things heated up on his end. 🤷🏿‍♂️ Very strange.

I think he got off(literally) on the fact that we would tussle for dominance in the relationship. Even though there was never really any clear"winner". The tension created would make the sex hot(admittedly)

There was no time to cheat. I was too frustrated by him to think about someone else. He was a handful (in every sense lol).My Venus in Sco was square his Mars in Leo too. And my Pluto trine his Venus in Gem(29deg).

When we 1st met, I was attracted to the Leo. And he played hard to get. I stopped pursuing because of his attitude.

Then some time later, he developed interest in me. Then pursued me very agressively and (flattered) I succumbed.😁

This should have been my first clue that he likes to call the shots. Doesn't like to be the one who is "chased". But I was naive and thought that he wasn't sure about me and needed time.

As the relationship progressed however, the need he has to always dominate became even more clear to me. And I just wanted more freedom and space to do my own thing. We clashed a lot on this.Sometimes things would escalate to physical pushing and tussling😶

From what I have noticed, Sag women tend to be more on the fringe compared to women of other fire signs. Aries women are more free and while naive, just heavily transparent and embodiment of fire energy. Leo women are stuckup but also quite ambitious. Sagittarius women seem to be more on the odd side, like they are the most watery of all the fire signs.

I notice quite a bit are quirky and also tend to have things going on with their mental health where they end up being more reclusive, perhaps that is why they end up with water sign men so often compared to fire sign men.

Where the annoyance comes from is that Sag women have this god complex when they see other fire signs and try to come off as all knowing. A lot of them are quite condescending and love to talk down to people which irritates a lot of the more blunt fire signs, especially Leos.

Perhaps the biggest setback is that Sagittarius women are quite disrespectful for the sake of being disrespectful, perhaps this is why Mercury is in fall in this sign. Sagittarius women do not have that finesse and loyalty that other fire sign women have which angers the hell out of a Leo. A Sag women will happily fraternize with your enemy because in her eyes, who cares, it's not her fight its yours. In a relationship, that becomes a roadblock because the Leo expects everyone in his circle to be with him or against him.

I have never dated a leo, well I had two one night stands involving leos and went on one date with one leo guy one time but I did not develop any feelings for any of them, felt no connection.

I guess in a romantic sense they don't do it for me, at least havent in the past.

My best friend from childhood was a leo and I did have a very strong bond with him.

I have leo in the 8th but am way more attracted to scorpio and taurus which would square my venus conjunct mars in the 8th from the 11th and the 5th but then again my husband's chart ruler VENUS in LEO conjuncts my venus and mars in leo in the 8th which squares his Mars conjunct Uranus in scorpio and his AC in taurus forming a tsquare with my venus and mars and his venus at the apex and yes tbf my husband and I have a super strong bond, we have being together for 14 years total so I guess I am married to a LEO since his chart ruler is in LEO, so there you have it so much for "I haven't dated any Leos" LOL. His sun/moon midpoint is also in LEO.

TBF he has it all; the taurus, the scorpio, the leo so I have been blessed LMAO!

Yes my husband is stubborn AF and loves to be in control and has some narcissistic traits but he isn't Machista or sexist, he has always supported my career aspirations, is not possessive or jealous, cooks and cleans and is handy but he also starts 10 projects at a time and has issues finishing what he starts but this is getting better for sure.

He has a difficult personality for suuuuuuuuuure but is also VERY Funnny, Charming and has no issues with addiction and is faithful. He has this amazing fluid intelligence, creativity and resourcefulness that I admire so there are reasons why I stay despite his EPIC ADULT TEMPER TANTRUMS brought to you by his mars conjunct Uranus in scorpio on his DC square his chart ruler VENUS in LEO and sesquisquare his MOON in cancer. He is always right, his fixed energy doesn't let him see he is not always right, he has mercury in scorpio conjunct Eros too but he has improved with this too.

He decides were things go and if I put it somewhere else is very upsetting to him. I find it narcissistic and annoying that he decides were things go!!!! LOL

I feel with fixed energy you get into stupid intense fights but I am strong too and have a negotiating spirit that works with his sun in libra up to a point even though his mars in scorpio hates compromises but he actually has come a long way with that and I genuinely try to figure out ways we both can be happy and get something we want.

I imagine they look at the world and their friends who get entangled in these relationships that to them seemed "deeply unsatisfying" as bat **** crazy and to them it seems "people are too afraid to be alone," it completely blows their mind LOL, to them is simple and straight forward relationships and whether to stay or end it and they feel people complicate it.

I'd disagree with this assessment, they tend to go for men of water signs at abnormally high rates compared to other fire sign women. If anything, I'd say any guy of a water sign that wants a fiery women, sags are the easiest ones.

I think that the energy does not sit well in a woman compared to a man, hence why so many Sagittarius women such as Chrissy Teigen, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, and Ann Coulter are so mentally ill.

It could also be due to some sort of insecurity on their part where they hate outgoing, extroverted, and outwardly confident men hence their vendetta against Leos as shown in that study as well as in celebrity pairings between the two being so rare.

I also think it is because Sagittarius women are very weird and odd for a Leo's taste. I think of Anna Farris from Scary Movies when I think of a Sag and a Leo would sooner go for a Brooklyn Decker or less quirky type of girl.

I am familiar with the preachy "god complex" that you speak of. It's more a "Jupiter" thing ime. Because I have met a few annoying Sag dominant types who are like this.And it's not necessarily exclusively Sag females.

Now it does make sense why Leos end up with Pisces women a lot, because it is exalted in Venus. Then with Cancer women, even though it is Jupiter exalt, it is also ruled by moon which is a luminary like the sun.

What sticks out to me is that Sag men do not carry the same vendetta that the women do, further leading me to believe that the energy sits poorly in Sagittarius women which explains their vendetta and disdain towards Leo men. Something that Aries and Leo women do not have.

I think you have a selective bias when it comes to Sag women. Perhaps because of your own unfortunate experience? Maybe you find them the least attractive and that is why you have this point of view? But they are NOT all what you say they are. Not at all.

There are Sag women who are indifferent to Leo or Aries(and the reverse also being true). It's not a "must" for the Sag woman to be attractive to a Leo male in order for her to be validated as "worthy"as mate. That's ridiculous.

There could be many factors at play. But generally, it may be possible that she just may not be interested or moved by the Leo male. He(Leo male) is after all not the benchmark AND has never been a measure upon which her "value" as a fire woman depends🤷🏿‍♂️

Sag on the whole are not the "all heart in" type of lovers that Aries/Leo may be. They do not sacrifice all for love. That is not their style(ime). And Leo/Aries tend to expect that.

As a Sag with an Aries , I find myself often at odds with his view of "love". It has a very "bleed from the soul" feel to it that he expect from me. And I am more "let's enjoy each other and see where it goes".

Sag has Pis on the solar IC. Emotionally, they can be the most evasive and hard to pin down.Insistent on exclusive freedom and keeping things "open-ended". That is not comforting for either Aries or Leo.

For the Cancer(Solar IC in Lib) that is fine. They tend to change heir minds often anyways and wouldn't want to feel "boxed in". Also the case with Sco(IC in Aqua) and Virgo(IC in Sag).

Notice also with Cancer and Sag(IC in Lib and Pisc respectively) their view of love is not tied into 'reality'? It's very fairytale/romance. And more mental/ imaginative than tangible. Even the Aqua (solar IC in practical Tau) can be too heavy going for Sag. And that's saying something😂

Leo has the solar IC in intense Sco. Their nature is more "all or nothing"and tends to be domineering emotionally. They go into love with emotional intensity that is overwhelming to most.

Aries has the solar IC in protective Can. They tend to wear their hearts on their sleeve and are very tender to rejection- reacting immediately to slights and rebuffs.

You can't compare signs to each other as each are different. And the "quirk" that Sag has is because they are bringing something different to the table. Their mind works differently (solar 3rd house in Aqua)

Ann Coulter(to my understanding of American politics)goes after everyone and anyone who is not part of her Republican party or contradicts that narrative.

She went after the then President Obama because (just like anyone on that seat) the person appointed to that position of power, is subject to intense scrutiny. And not because he is Leo and there is some some cosmic agenda afoot. That is ludicrous.

We would not say that Nancy Pelosi's (Ari) open disapproval of Donald Trump (Gem) has a certain Aries vs. Gemini vendetta as an underbelly? Ofcourse not🤷🏿‍♂️

And mental illness cannot be arbitrarily assigned to Sag. There are various aspects in the chart that may suggest ones predisposition to it. It is not exclusive to Sag (women).

And I also think you have a "superiority" complex that you attribute to fire signs? This to suggest that water/air/earth sign men are "less manly" and therefore WOULD be attracted to a Sag women. Because in your books, she is less "worthy" of attracting a "stallion" like a Leo or Aries male anyways.🤭

Yeah, Tom Brady, the most winningest quarterback with model looks and there is nothing to him.

Chris Hemsworth, a modern day sex symbol, but nothing to Leo men.

Barack Obama, one of the most handsome presidents with charisma through the roof but nothing to Leo men.

But hey, I am not here to hype up Leo men, rather just see everyone slowly show their true colors. Look, I finally get it now and have seen the truth. The reality is that Sagittarius women are just really really good at coping compared to women of other signs. You make up all these stories about how you hate attached lovers but you go for water sign men who are known for being emotional and clingy, haha, nice try.

Let's just call a spade a spade here. Unlike Aries women who go for what they want and are truly honest about it and Leo women who are the same way, Sagittarius women are just not true to themselves. It all boils down to one thing, Sagittarius women just have good coping mechanisms when they are unable to get what they really want in life. Why is Chrissy Teigen such a trashy woman and Ann Coulter such a crude ***** ? It's because these women live through life coping and not going after what they want.

The truth is, almost all women with a lot of Sag in their chart want a masculine fire sign man to give them the night of their lives. Unfortunately for them, Venus is ruled by Libra and Taurus so these men go for those women or more outwardly charismatic fire sign women like Aries and Leo women. Sagittarius women cannot compete in that regard so they act out in these trashy ways that are represented by Nicki Minhaj and Ann Coulter, they are confrontational because they have learned to accept the fact that the Chris Hemsworths and Bradys of the world will never want to sleep with them so they get confrontational towards them.

These are just facts and nothing else.

You don't see too many Sagittarius women on the catwalk.

As for Sagittarius women, by nature they are not made for water sign men. Fire sign women in general are not that emotional and into the clingy stuff. Still, when a guy has options, you have to settle for what you can get. Air sign men have options due to their charisma and fire sign men for their overall attractiveness. Water sign men, generally speaking, take whatever they can get. Scorpio men are known for being bitter and overcompensating, having to use underhanded and sketchy tactics to get women.

For most Sagittarius women, since majority are not evolved, it is a great match. Hey, you hate Leo men and Aries men because they are more charismatic and appealing to the public than you. I hate Leo and Aries people because they have that pure fire energy I wish I had.
