Her mercury is also in Pisces. She also has Jupiter and North Node in Pisces (The Jupiter and mercury conjunct her sun. I dunno if the moon is conjunct the sun etc. as well because I don't know her time of birth.) Venus and Mars in Aries. I don't see Aries as a cold sign either.
At the end of the day it's the upbringing and the culture and also the spirit of the times that shape one's personality the most - regardless of astrology.
But she is not the only Pisces in my family that is not a good parent. One of my cousins is a Pisces sun, moon and mercury, too and has not qualified for mother of the year award. She is an absolute weirdo and nuts.

Hmm, interesting! Sounds like Pisces Suns' aren't the most loving out of the 12 signs after all. Perhaps it's moreso Cancers? Or perhaps the Aries Venus/Mars dominance. I have a second cousin who's also a Pisces Sun with an Aries Venus, and despite turning 33 March 14th, she is very very aggressive. A few years ago, guy nearly called the cops on her for threatening to kill him when he was bothering Christine on the subway. IP: Logged |

It's always the whole chart. I know some massive a holes with a lot of Cancer in their chart so no, that's not per se a loving sign, either. I have moon and asc in Cancer and I'm not clingy at ll. In fact I hate when someone gets clingy and needy with me. What I'm trying to say is that you can never go by planets in the signs alone. You always need to dig deeper and take the whole chart into consideration (the neediness and clinginess being an association with the Cancer sign, that's why I used that exapmple.)
And no, I wouldn't blame the Venus/Mars in Aries for her not being a warm mother. Aries is not a cold sign. IP: Logged |
