Sis PlutoWasHere, you can take out (exclude) the ruler of any ruler planet if you want, there an option for it (including generational/outer planet), I screen shot it for you.

Where I circle in red, it said Ruler, 'excl' means exclude. You click that and it will exclude ALL the domicile planet ruler in your chart (from inner planet to outer) if that how you chose to do so.

You can try it again and you see your % will shift, unless your chart doesn't have any domicile planet, or else if you click 'excl', it will change the result. The calculator give you an option to exclude it.
