I have transit pluto in the 2nd house and the interpretations online annoy the crap out of me, it focuses so god da*n much on money and material possessions/finances and I just don't connect a lot with these interpretations.Like yes tr pluto in the 2nd has coincided with me becoming more financially independent and starting private practice and working for myself and yes I am purchasing more stuff but I don't care about money. This is a long transit and its over focus on money does not appeal to me. It has also coincided with me leaving my ex husband but other transits explain that better but me perhaps feeling I deserve better helped with that process, I read this transit makes you ask for more and not settle so it may have played a role in me finally ending that relationship along with saturn and uranus transits to my venus and dc ruler. Yet I ended up dating another guy till recently that felt like I just continued my relationship with my ex with him, it seems that relationship was a symptom of not letting go of patterns of relating that are not serving me bc if feels familiar but is not following me in 2023 and I have a personal year 1 this year. Did any of you experience a transformation of self worth and if so please tell me more? I am just hoping this transit helps me release relationship dynamics that do not serve me and get comfortable with relationship dynamics that do or with being single. I am hoping I develop a secure attachment style during this transit and release any co-dependent rescuer tendencies and feeling drawn to that in relationships. I don't need pluto to help me get rich, I need pluto to help with personal growth specially when it comes to relationships bc this is an area that controls me and has power over me and I need to master so I am in control. So I am hoping some folks share their pluto in the 2nd transit and give me some hope this transit is not about obsessing about money bc I can give three flying fu*ks about money. Yeah is fun to be able to purchase stuff but for the love of god that is not what life is about. IP: Logged |

bump!Hoping you get some helpful feed back. I don't think I'll experience one in this lifetime. My second house is Cancer. My late grandma has Pluto Cancer she has really been through hell and back with family stuff. Her family survived the great depression, she is a domestic violence survivor, all of her kids and grandkids turned out fine and she enjoyed us very much. While I think I want to live to be in my 80's ...I can only imagine having Pluto in Cancer conjunct my Jupiter transit!! After that, no thank you, because of my Cappy and Aries stuff. IP: Logged |

I have my natal Pluto in 1st House, so Pluto transit 2nd House came pretty early in my life. It was from age 10 to 22 and it made some significant planetary aspects as well because it was opposite my 8th House stellium (Sun, Jupiter, Venus and south node).I felt I had to grow up quickly during that period. I felt very isolated. My mother was focused on my younger brother and I didn’t have any friends at my high school. It was a period that made me aware that I was the only one that was going to take care of my own needs. The most amazing thing during that time was when I was 15 and got a puppy. I loved that little fluffy girl so much. She helped me through my most lonely moments during puberty. We went on long walks together. Walking still helps me in getting grounded and gaining perspective. I just went through divorce myself, with transit Pluto in my 4th House and opposite my 7th House ruler Mars and 4th House ruler Saturn. And square my 7th House Chiron… I’m trying to deal with some very deep rooted insecurities at the moment related to self worth (north node in 2nd House and I’m having reverse nodal return right now)and self acceptance. It’s a slow process but I feel like I’m finally getting to know myself a little bit better. @hypatia, does the transit make any aspects to your natal planets or is happening at the same time with another strong karmic transit like the nodes? @hypatia, this was such a weird synchronicity from the Pluto and relationship trends thread, but I feel it's better to respond to it here. quote: Originally posted by hypatia238: 2022 did feel like the year of big break ups but I did have tr saturn opposing my venus in the 8th while tr uranus was trining my DC ruler and my personal year was 9 so a year to end relationships, not a great year to start one, lots of barriers to relationships starting...
2021 was a personal year 9 for me and it was the year I decided to divorce and my ex moved out. 2022 was a personal year 1 for me. It's a strange synchronicity to see it align with divorce in someone else's personal year as well. Honestly, Numerology kind of freaked me out recently. 2023 will be a personal year 11 for me. I feel like I got a weird heads up from the Universe about this year. I never paid much attention to Numerology, but 1st of December I was scrolling through instagram and a post about Angel Number 111 cought my eye. I looked at the time and it was 11:19. Because it stood out for me I decided to read a bit about Numerology and last week I stumbled upon the personal years. When I checked for 2023, it kind of creeped me out to see the 11. The number is connected to healing and spirituality. That sounds like a great new year's resolution to me and is a good match with transit Taurus Jupiter entering my 8th house later this year.

Hi, thanks for sharing, what sticks out for me about your story is you realizing that only you could take care of your needs during this transit but getting a puppy and forming a healthy attachment with it also fits. Tr Pluto has been squaring my natal Pluto and opposing ATROPOS so it completes a Tsquare. It has also been trining my SUN which conjuncts my MC. IP: Logged |

Seems to me like this is one of those situations where Pluto may be transiting your 2nd house, but the real emphasis could still be on its parallel to natal Asc. Pluto is now at 22S48 declination. If your Asc is in Sagittarius it is between 20.1° and 23.4° South. So if Asc is in the middle or late degrees of Sag, it has definitely been transited by Pluto for a while (at least off-and-on). Aspects are more important than house positions, which are wide and more subtle. Aspects to specific points — especially Asc — are more personal. In this case, more about personal transformation, personal power, etc. ------------------ Astrological gemstone readings for your energetic balance, healing, and soul development. http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/services/ We were born for these times. And yes, I experienced this transit decades ago, late 1970s to around 1990. Because I was around 8 to 20 years old, it didn't really have anything to do with financial decisions, but a subtle shift in conditions in a slow learning process about owning things. The particulars don't matter and there is little that actually stands out on that them. I can tell you that Pluto transited my Asc by parallel for at least a couple years during that period and that is what is most memorable. I hit puberty (hard) during that transit and it was certainly one of personal transformation! IP: Logged |

Correct tr pluto is parallel my AC, when tr Pluto entered the 2nd house is when I started to feel dissastified with my job and then I decided to work on getting my license and then I decided to do private practice and get my EMDR training and then I decided to end my marriage all this stuff back to back essentially. I can see how tr PLUTO parallel AC shows the missing piece, it does feel like a blend of tr pluto in 2nd house with tr pluto parallel the AC what is going on. I do have natally: Mercury Rx which is my DC ruler parallel PLUTO and JUNO. With Saturn conjuncting Pluto and saturn opposing my JUNO. Since pluto parallels my DC ruler Mercury and tr pluto in the 2nd is still squaring my natal pluto perhaps that is why there is a desire for personal growth around relationship themes. IP: Logged |

Thank you for pointing that out. It was not something I was fully aware of. But it was indeed about healthy attachment. Not from a place of need but of genuine love and caring. I did not love her because she would offer me something in return, it was a very pure experience. Love that came right from the source. It’s good to be reminded that we have that within us. Hey hypatia238😁. Long time. An Aquarian friend of mine (Asc in Cap) is about to go through it. But i think that before that happens, there could be a "pre-paving" indicated by the 11th house of liquid gains, the 8th house of joint assets and 5th house recreational expression. That's because these succedent houses are connected to each other. The 2nd/8th are joined as are the 5th and 11th. In order to buy stuff or security attachments (2nd),you need liquid gains(11th). And those things you buy and own(2nd) are reflective of your personality expression (5th). Mars is at 29 Aqua with him. The Saturn transit will conj his 11th house cusp ruler(Sco). I see this as his re-entry into the job market. He has been studying for the past 3 years. So this re-entry into the work environment will influence his ability to self-sustain (2nd). He will no longer be depending on the State (8th). Or the relationship between him & his dependents will shift. Add to this, Venus is in Aqua 1 deg . The entry of Pluto conj his Venus will influence his 5th- house cusp Taurus. Venus is in his 2nd house. The Sun rules his 8th house cusp Leo. His Sun in Aqua will experience the Uranus Tau square transit also this year. So all of these activities will impact the Pluto in 2nd long transit. Issues of self sustenance will surface, self worth , self esteem, do people like me for me or what i have? What is security? What is really valuable? And what if i were to lose my means of self-sustenance? Who would take care of me? Do i have enough? How much is "enough"? Issues with the appetite, themes of how relationships impact your self esteem i.e Maybe you earn more than your partner or the partner earns more than u? And this creates power dynamics in romance and dating? Pluto in 2nd may also have one face loss in the form of security(2nd). Maybe a parental loss? Issues of insecurity can be heavily triggered by a crisis (Plu) and create preoccupations with what one "has"? Maybe there is a difficulty in separating the self from what one has? Or one's independence is put under enormous strain and they are forced to become dependent on others(8th)? We actually need to continue doing a brainstorm on this transit. I had Uranus transit my house 2. And navigating its effects is not always clear-cut. Before it started, trans Jupiter in Sco in 2018 was square natal Saturn (ruler of my 11th house of liquid gains). When Uranus finally started house 2,I had acquired a degree. Ruler of the 8th(Mars) was square trans Plu and Saturn. And Jupiter was conjunct my Sun (ruler of my natal 5th). I knew that success (being independent) would be delayed with the acquired qualification. That was indicated by Saturn square Mars(ruler of the 8th). Soon after my degree qualification, Covid hit. trans Pluto/Sat were conj trans Mars/Jup in my 10th when the restrictions started. And so Uranus in 2nd just meant further disturbances and reversals by way of financial independence (2nd). Very frustrating indeed.😥 Usually there are sequences of build-up transits that usher in the ingress of Pluto in your 2nd. Looking back to the 11th, 8th and 5th house interactions helps in gaining clarity. IP: Logged |

I’m wrapping mine up now. It was definitely about my finances, and that sucked. A lot of great things happened- essentially I left my marriage, went back to work, went back to school, started a business, bought a house, raised my daughters, and am now finding my true path as an individual. While it did impact my finances and my personal belongings, it really ultimately taught me about the true value of my self worth. As it prepares to move in to my third, I have found the love I always craved, through self love. I actually see myself through others eyes and realize that I AM the person I always wanted to be, even in the eyes of others. That said, the inner knowing and confidence I have about who I am is my ultimate wealth. Hope that helps. IP: Logged |

Me! My 2nd house cusp is on 15Cap so Pluto has been dancing in the 2nd house for some time now. It’s been quite a difficult time for sure. Actually for me, there has been a lot of financial hardships. With the COVID pandemic, there has been a lot of ups and downs - each time we go down, it felt like we had to start right back up and pick ourselves up again. I guess it does feel like a Pluto effect. In a couple of month, transit Pluto will approach natal Jupiter which is also in my 2nd house at 2Aqu, conjunct anti-vertex. I’m hoping it’ll be for the best? Maybe this transit will bring me something positive? I’m certainly ready for some good changes in my life. IP: Logged |

WOW Love this, beautiful journey. Loved how you worded it, finding the love you have always craved through self love! Thank you so much for sharing. For me it has not impacted my finances negatively. It has resulted in an increase of wealth so far but I have never been attached to money or possessions. Also Saturn rules my 2nd house and conjuncts Pluto which is an aspect of perhaps financial hardship at first but after the first saturn return slowly building up wealth over time, it seems to be playing out this way for me. I actually lost everything very close to my saturn return so I think I already experienced this aspect of the 2nd house journey involving pluto in the 2nd since I have saturn conjunct pluto and saturn rules my 2nd house. I am totally looking forward to my self worth been rebuild and finding that love I have always loooked for through self love, that sounds amazing, I need that. I have an empty 2nd house. I can tell you I am starting to tap into that energy a little bit. I am realizing that I need to focus on being happy on my own and to stop seeking a relationship and if I do end up in a relationship the focus should still be ME and not the relationship if that makes sense bc I need to value myself more and tap into my own power to create instead of over-focusing or obsessing about relationships, there is so much power I lose doing that that could be invested in ME. But IDK I do value being in a relationship/companionship so going it alone long term is not what I want either. It sounds like a lot of good came out of this transit for you including purchasing a new home and becoming more independent and lots of advancement and personal development career wise. IP: Logged |

I wonder if those financial hardships happen to create a crisis to force you to develop your skills more so you can then become more financially independent! IP: Logged |

That's interesting- I did date men who taught me something financially. A few of them were in cyber security with banks, but more than anything it was about men and their resources. With it going into my 3rd, maybe I can expect partners that expand my mind? Of course I have to start attracting partners first... IP: Logged |
