With Asc in Cap, Mars rules your 11th of friends (Sco). So this planet has dominion over that area of life. Mars can be contentious. Or you may have friends with strong feelings who can get very defensive.I would watch aspects of Mars to natal or slower moving transiting planets in order to see where a contention might be. Or if a friend is triggered. Right now Mars is in 9th house. So the disagreement could be something related to an ideology,political idea or belief? If it was in 8th house, it would be in Leo.
