Mars is sitting on my Sun today. The past few days were irritable. I nearly got exiled on Facebook. Some people were just saying dumb stuff.I dealt with them in a very blunt way.☝🏿😩

2024 was not entered in the same high spirits as 2023. But perhaps the momentum will pick up? I feel like I am dying (metaphorically). I still feel like crap inside 🙏🏿

I don't know how I feel about that particular time🙆🏿‍♂️. That puts me as Taurus Rising- throwing me off the original time given. I give up🤣

Anywho, Mars continues to sit on my Sun. This time making an exact aspect to my Sun.We are on the cusp of travelling to the country (paternal homestead).I am not too excited about it.

Transiting Moon is arcing to conjunct my natal Mars. I am usually irritable when this aspect occurs. And add to this the Mars transit on my Sun, I am not exactly going to a nice person this coming weekend.

We leave on Monday(Sun transit oppose natal Moon). This is not a great aspect ime.It suggests conflict & personality standoffs because of fundamental differences.

Add to this the transit of Ven to natal Ura (delay), I am not confident that we will be leaving on the day proposed.Or else we will likely face a lot of delays on our way back which will be draining.

My mum was sure about my birth time, but told me that she was born "between 1pm and 3pm". So, I used to default to 2pm, which gave her an ascendant conjunct my Sun (like you). My sister thought she was a Taurus ascendant, because she liked nice things, but she also had Mars in Leo, Moon conjunct Jupiter in Libra - both sound like they like nice things.

I got sick but tested negative for covid twice probably bc southbeach was suuuuuuuper packed on the 31st and the 1st, this seems to be the situations when I catch something. Yet my dad tested positive for covid (his first time) but they gave him meds and he is doing better than me recovering and my brother also is sick but we don't know if is the flue or covid for him. Is possible my dad caught something new year's eve night at Brickell key which was also pretty packed.

Then my partner had to return to Colorado mid way through the trip bc of an appointment he was not able to move that was important bc he did not hear back from anyone he reached out to multiple times through different avenues about changing this appointment and as a result of this he filed to move the court date today and decided to get a new public defender bc this guy sucks and this in turn will also buy him time to get a job before the next court date so as frustrating as this whole situation has been I think it forced him to re-evaluate the legal support he is getting and get another public defender which will benefit him even though it generated a lot frustration. ^^very mercury retro in saggy energy I suppose...

Anyhoo me being sick and partner heading back will also force me to spend more time with family but its just been stressful this trip, its been throwing a lot of curve balls.

I kind of saw this coming bc the past few months it seems half of the population is getting sick and in some way catching something, an overwhelming amount of people have been getting sick lately so I figure it was only a matter of time bc I am human and not invincible.

I grew up with a distant relationship with my Father. One that was quite hurtful to me.But in time, I grew to accept things as unchangeable between us.

In the past couple of years however, I found this "status quo" unacceptable. So I planned for years to initiate the conversation. But kept on postponing because it just seemed to always never be the right time.

Eventually this week,I decided that I would make the moment to talk to him right now. And I did.

The conversation was heavy.Heavy!! Or it definitely felt that way when it started.

Days before,my stomach did all sorts of twists and turns. I could not even sleep properly yesterday- as I prepared myself by writing everything I wanted to say down.

This was an opportunity to open up emotionally about what is happening inside. To get transparent about my emotional state and where I feel we are.

The conversation was productive.But difficult. Feelings and emotions are not things that are easy for older people to talk about. But I nevertheless soldiered through it.

I hope that this is a worthwhile step taken to move us forward. I am not expecting us to be close buddies.But I do expect the relationship to improve. Right now, it doesn't exist

I notice that transiting Moon is conj Venus today.And both are conj natal Uranus.

Also today, transiting Merc is conjunct natal Jupiter.Transiting Sun is conj natal Moon. And Transit Mars in Cap is conj natal Sun.

I think that the actions of today are more reflective of the Sun(trans) opposing my Moon(emotions). As the day was about putting a spotlight (Sun) on my feelings (Moon).

The nervousness prior to the conversation, is likely trans Sun conj natal Merc, opp Moon Can and squares Mars Libra. My T square was heavily activated.

She was actually off by an hour, with my sister's time. My sister thought her ascendant was also conjunct my Sun, in Aries, until she found out that she was born an hour earlier, which puts it at 29*Pisces.

I was satisfied that(after venturing into rectification) that my Aries Asc was correct.

So far, transits have been on point. However, I have noted that if one has a natal T square, then that can often disguise itself as the Asc. Why? Because so much energy accumulates at the stimulation of a T-square. So events often happen there.

But then looking at Saturn transits , I have to also admit that (by whole sign) there is a consistency with Tau rising.

For example, Sat went into Cap when I registered for a degree(9th house). Saturn was in 5th house (whole house) when I got my 1st degree.

Saturn in 6th was 1st time job (it was hell). Saturn in 7th was a relationship (with a Tau Sun/Moon) that I thought would last, but didn't.

Saturn in 8th was a challenging and unpredictable work environment. It was also the revelation of a secret.Saturn in 10th coincided with Covid.The transit interfered with my career(delays). And when I did work, I had to work with old people(a rigid academic environment).

Saturn in 11th is starting out as a re-evaluation of friendships.I am anticipating that the Plu cross over to Aqua will affect my career(10th with Tau Asc). Because Pluto hit the degree of my Asc in Aries and (admittedly) there wasn't much that shifted. Nothing drastic. This even when it hit the Mc/Ic degree.

I've never been high before. I don't know if I want to be, but an acquaintance has said she'd rather be high, than drunk. (I don't get drunk, either.) She takes edibles to relax, and ease anxiety, they help her to sleep.

We voted to legalize marijuana here, a couple of months ago, but there are people working to fight it.

I was quite disappointed in that 🤔 There was more action when Pluto hitmy T-square. This was also the case with Uranus. Now I will see if Pluto shifts things drastically on the career front.

I'm wiped out, and can't remember what I was going to say.

Pluto is going to square my Uranus/ascendant again, and my dad's sun. I'm not looking forward to it. I was thinking about looking at transits with a whole sign chart, but my Uranus/ascendant are right at the beginning of Scorpio, so it wouldn't matter if I did.

The last time Saturn was conjunct my Mars, we'd moved here (different area), due to an extreme lack of money. Saturn is sextile my dad's sun, and we lived in this tiny, crappy place, because money was so tight. We've never had the luxury of savings, or anything, but dad thought he could start, last year - until he found out that he owed *a lot* in taxes.

My dad's job has changed in the past year. He misses the steady route, and cheque, from the mail bags, but they were also wearing him out. He's been working almost every day, because there has been so little work, and coming home earlier, recently. I've been going out with him, too. Having company, and getting out, has helped me, but I know he would prefer to be busy.

He's been up since 4am. I don't know if I want him going back out there this evening. He said he was going to work every day, since he wasn't getting full days (most of the time), and would take a couple of days off next week.

*He got home as I was writing this. They'd agreed on x-rays and no cleaning, just pulling the tooth (maybe two). The chances of capping them are marginal. Dad thought he was going to get the one tooth pulled, and the dentist decided to announce - once he was there - that he doesn't pull teeth anymore. He had some issues, a few months ago, so he decided he isn't doing that anymore. Something they should have told him *on the phone*. They still charged him the full amount, when that was supposed to to cover removing it, too.
