Thanks for posting this. But as an architect who's had to take several courses in daylighting even in grad school, I can't tell you how misleading these pictures can be. Almost any architect I met is a bit confused when it comes to the solstices. Why for instance is the south pole so much colder than the north? A heliocentric model can never provide enough explanation. I figured it out for myself picturing earth as flat and was able to ace almost any design assignment. Not here to spread theories, but most of modern astrology is geocentric. IP: Logged |

If you have a strong sense of self, you tend to be a better leader! That's why the Sun is exalted in Aries!I mean, personally, I would prefer to be a Leo! But that's just me! ------------------ Happiness is easy to find. IP: Logged |

A more detailed reply, from me.I feel like the Sun is exalted in Aries, is because Aries is a straightforward fella. The Sun likes self expression. Aries easily expresses itself, a straight shooter. And the Sun vibes well with this Aries energy. I see 'exalted' as the silver medal, after the home placement/dignity. With the Sun in Leo. The Sun is at home here. Leo isn't exactly a shy fellow. He likes to shine his self expression to everyone. The worst parts of Leo is Narcissism. The best? They are giving of their happiness and sunlit confidence, inspiring you to be confident, yourself! You can't give happiness to people if you're not happy yourself. Just like how you can't give more grapes to people, if you don't have any grapes, yourself. The Sun in Leo is the golden medal, of the Sun placement, in my opinion. The Sun is at its happiest in a Yang sign (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius)! ------------------ Happiness is easy to find. IP: Logged |

In more detail. Sagittarius is probably the third best for the Sun. It is because, like the other fire signs, Sagittarius is open, expressive, and has a big ego. I was going to say that the Sun in Gemini is in third place, also known as the bronze medal, but Gemini is surprisingly malleable and can be more slick, flexible, and subtle, with its expression. The Sun is not slick, at least not in general. It is magnanimous, pompous, expressive, direct, and simple. This does not mean that an Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius cannot be beaten in a fight. It just means that the fire signs tend to feel more ease, and content, with themselves, and their sense of selves. These are just my opinions, though. Obviously, signs like Scorpio, Capricorn, Taurus, and maybe even Aquarius, can beat (and have a very great percentage) a fire sign. ------------------ Happiness is easy to find. IP: Logged |
