I've always though Earth signs, when faced with difficulty they know how to get through tough times unphased.

My Taurus boss is currently insecure of me leaving or moving on to another position? I don't get it? Is this natural?

The only thing that seams natural is if he's treating me like a pet that he owns. This is a natural Taurus trait to take people as possessions.

Eventually I will have to move on in my career so i'm going to have brake from him. Any ideas from anyone?

It should be more Capricorn. Taurus as ruled by Venus dislike discomfort. Also, it’s the first earth sign so it’s young and not mature.
Some of the most moody people I’ve met were Taurus. But you would never guess it from the brief knowing. It could be the other things in charts too.

My best assumption is the workplace becomes less stable if I leave, so that's probably why my boss would feel less secure. Taurus doesn't always like change, so that probably be were the discomfort would be.

He did assign someone to work under me to act as a backup. I'm not upset about it or anything. I'm permeant this person is just a contractor that was reassigned from the call center.

All the people from the call center are on contracts and there all ending this summer, so it saved this person from loosing a job.

They just extended her contact for another year and assigned her under me.

He was condescending at first then when he found out more of my background, he said I was overqualified and started to ease up on me.

I was hired by a Scorpio, not him who was his superior at the time then assigned to him.

I don't know what it is with people with Scorpio placements they sorta have an intuition on me of what I can and can't do, even if I don't say so.

taurus + drastic change ='s 😔

that being said any sign can be insecure and moon and ascendant can be far more prominent than sun. not to mention aspects and houses factor in.

based on taurus alone though a dislike of change and even struggling with positive change is very common.

Yes. Change is very scary to fixed signs. This especially Tau.

Tau likes to accumulate comfort in order to feel more protected and safe.So this "accumulation" could be in the form of "stuff", friends, marriage status, colleagues, clothes, food, cars etc.

So the loss of one of any of those things that they have attached themselves to, can lead to greater possessiveness. And even violence (in extreme cases). Because they will want to keep themselves safe.

So it's not even about you. But really about what role you serve for them. If they find other means of feelings safe and protected, they are quick to let you go. Why?Because they have found an alternative.

This person that is working as a replacement for you is that safety net. Once they prove themselves capable. You will see how quickly detached from you the Tau will be.

I'm gradually delegating the work that I normally do to "my backup" and ensuring they can make the transition.

Don't be a d*ck, some people will just use this as an opportunity to sabotage the new person coming it.

The other reason why he may feel that way is because i'm generally an independent person that has very low dependency on other people.

This job is great for someone that's married, raising a family, and needs the stability.

Not knocking that down, it's just that
I made slightly different life choices.

I'm following my True Node which is to work hard, be passionate in something you do, and keep getting better at it. Even if it comes at the expense of raising a family.

I took this role because I work remotely and I figured I could work while completing graduate studies or another degree at the same time.

With return to office (RTO) being implemented it may alter my plans though. This is beyond his control though it wasn't his decision.

I read this response 3 times.

I am confused as to how Don't be a d*ck, some people will just use this as an opportunity to sabotage the new person coming it. make its way into the conversation? 🤷🏿‍♂️

Are we even having the same conversation? 🤔

Sorry if there was a confusion, not directed to you just a general statement and something I do not want to do.

Some people will setup people to fail if they know they'll be taking over their position.

In the 90s some outgoing tech employees would do that.
