I love how quckly Fire Moons can get over hurts and forgive easily or just brush it off like it was some bug resting on their arms or how logical and detached Air Moons can be and not let emotions take fully over and how level-headed Earth Moons can be. I feel some of us Water moons can be way too sensitive sometimes and emotions really is our most dominant feature and it brings us so much moodiness and it`s just so exhausting and draining sometimes and to make it even worse i`m supposed to be more like my Earth North node while having my South node in the SAME sign as my moon like wtf. Can you learn and devolop the qualities of the other Moon Signs? IP: Logged |

I looooooooooooooooooooooooooove being a water Moon🤣. Next lifetime, I want to be this Moon again. Please🙏🏿.No hate to any of the other elements. I have many romantic entanglements with air and fire Moons actually (the most). And I think that they fully appreciate the emotional volume I bring into the mix of the relationship. I appreciate my own sensitivity now(when older), it's allowed me to make wise choices in life. And granted it has made me difficult for others to understand. But that is the least of my worries. I connect with whom I am supposed to. And that's just how it goes 🤷🏿♂️ In Vedic Nakshratas(which I have been researching of late) people who have 0-13 Deg water are ruled by Rahu. Those with 13-27Deg water (me) are ruled by Jupiter. And then the last 27-29.59 are ruled by Saturn. This analysis has given me so many "aha" moments. So much more appreciation as to who I am, why I act the eay I do and how i was made.I have since had no desire to be anything outside of what I am right now. If there is one thing that I wish I did less(growing up) was rejecting my emotional nature and wishing I was not built the way I was. And that was because of comparison ad trying to be "normal"(esp for a guy). Being so receptive did have me deal with an antagonistic environment as a male. I fought a lot of fights. I cried a lot of tears. Once the comparison stopped. Deep appreciation for me came. The love became so overwhelming, I can't even speak of it. I had loved me all along and didnt know it ❤ Whatever element you are ,is on purpose. Admire others. But do not compare. You were made as an individual and bring your own unique flavour to the story 🙏🏿 IP: Logged |

I think my moon can be watered down, because it is squared by Mars in Pisces. It's right at the end of the 7th house, so it's read as being in the 8th, and it's conjunct 8th house Venus. Oh, I missed that this was a question for water moons. Sorry! IP: Logged |

Thank you for this and so very true I needed a reminder of how good it can be to be a Water moon too even though it has it`s challenges but it brings with it some good too. It`s like our sensitivity is sort of a gift that came with a great cost haha. A lot of our intelligence and wisdom comes from our sensitivity and can have us see things in ways that are so deep and to the core but MY goodness has it brought on the moodiness too, lol. We really are like waves inside just ebbing and flowing constantly and our biggest challenge is our sensitivity but yet it`s also our best side. IP: Logged |

I think my mars in Pisces square, can balance out the air, amd act more like a water moon. I can be too emotional, and I can be really detached. I don’t know that one is better than the other. Sometimes detachment feels good, but a good cry can feel good, too. There are times when I’ve been snippy, and it was when I’d pushed my feelings down, and just needed to cry, or let it out another way. IP: Logged |

Great point i think that Mars on your Moon can have your Moon become more touchy but i must say you handle yourself great during discussions and arguments i have seen it many times on here which is what i like a lot with Air Moons they are never too sensitive for a debate haha. But yeah both detachment and emotions are a good thing but when you are overloaded with one trait you need more of the other it feels. IP: Logged |

Perhaps you should focus more on the positive qualities of Water moons, instead of the negative ones. Wishing one moon was different is a waste of time. I have an Air moon and I love it! Yeah it has its pittfalls like all things human, but I love the positive qualities of my Libra moon. IP: Logged |

Not really, it's actually one of the few things I wouldn't change in my natal chart if I had the choice. The downside of Moon in Pisces is that I absorb energies around me like a sponge, it's draining me and holds me back in life. Haven't found a way to manage it successfully yet. Upsides: ● Intuition and reading people. This has literally saved my life a few times. Also prevents you from wasting time with incompatible people. This can be an extremely powerful tool which can be used both in negative and positive ways in order to get you what you want or help others. ● Emotional lows are extremely low but emotional highs are extremely high as well. I prefer this instead of always feeling indifferent or empty and never experience that soul fullfilling happiness which may come even from "small" things. ● Emotional depth and emotional understanding of self and others, better than other Moon placements. ● Warm, inviting, deep, watery eyes. Giving trustworthy, calm and warm vibes in general.

I really feel like this is a case by case thing. I’m an air moon but I’m not as logical and detached as you might think. I’m very emotional and things stick with me for a long time too. When I was younger it was very particularly difficult for me to not be weighed down by my emotions or traumatic things I saw. I would stay stuck on it for days. Through experiences I’ve had to learn to change my mentality/outlook if I want to be able to survive/live. It takes time and I still lack. I’ve made progress but I’m not immune to emotions. So it’s not amazing having an air moon, and just because someone has an air moon means that dealing with emotions is going to be any easier. We get moody and hurt just as much as the next. But like others mentioned, every moon has its ups and downs. In fact, the whole stereotype that air moons are cold and detached is one of the reasons I hate being an air moon. I really dislike my moon sign out of my whole chart. I’m even embarrassed to say my moon if I’m asked because I feel like ppl will jump to conclusions right away with stereotypes instead of actually getting to know me. I can’t speak for all air moons though. But I will say I am like a cat. I am very aloof and private until I really really trust and feel comfortable with someone. Maybe other air moons are the same way. I don’t see anything wrong with being a water moon. I actually feel like it’s the best moon to have. I also believe that as you mature you can handle/stabilize emotions better. It’s not something impossible, I feel like it’s a matter of how open you are to change and looking within.
How positive a water moon can manifest, I believe has a lot to do with your environment. Through different things like surrounding yourself with good ppl/things and ppl you love.Things that bring good energy to surround yourself with that, giving more optimism in life. Even when it’s hard with all the cruel things in the world. Ppl make fun of delusional ppl but honestly feel seeing the world through rose tinted glasses is the way to go (in moderation of course x) Also letting yourself feel emotions is good and healthy. Life would be terrifyingly dull and sad without them. They are apart of our beautiful experience in this life. So if anything water moons are the ones who have the ability to live life to the fullest. IP: Logged |

I’m not cold and detached, but I used to step back, and do things like write my way through something. I had no interest in arguments, I gave the benefit of the doubt a lot. And I can slip into denial, which can help with anxiety, but not actually taking care of things. IP: Logged |

No, I love my moon. My life is interesting because of my deep emotions. My moon is also square my Pluto so it can get intense but I love it. It's also trine my sun, venus, mars and uranus. It's a very intersting moon I think and I'm grateful for it. But I think it's because I've already done a ton of inner work and am much more balanced than I used to be.IP: Logged |

Sometimes I use to wish I had earth moon for stability. My Scorpio moon has survived Uranus in Taurus, Okay Scorpio season is usually the hardest time of the year for me because having the sun highlight my 6th house of something not serving my mental health becomes urgent to fix it, LEAVE IT etc. Many times I realize it’s time to leave a job or relationship. Or if anything insanely tested if I stay. IP: Logged |

If it's a male with a Water moon i'd assume it whould be detrimental.Especially if their coming from a culture were the expectation is the man is suppose to be an alpha male or one of those "muscle meatheads" and not be an overly emotional beta male. For females I don't think it's that bad, if I'm not mistaken aren't females more closer to their moon sign? and supposed to be more softer and understanding? Speaking of moons, I don't know what it is with my condo-townhouse block, seams to be an Aries energy vibe. With the use of some social engineering the two neighbors right beside me are also Aries mooners..the neighbour directly across is an Aries sun. It makes sense because I always seam to bump into them being active during odd hours. I want to be an earth moon rather than the air moon I am.Completely detached from my emotions which is not healthy because they suddenly come barreling into my consciousness all at once-not fun.Earth moons especially Taurus are great with money, planning and general feet on the ground.IP: Logged |

I'm an Air Moon and Venus, and I'm not completely detached from my emotions. And when it does happen, it isn't necessarily unhealthy. It helps my nervous system. I still feel things, I'm just not reactive at all, but I will cry. It's a much softer feeling. It can be funny when you look back and think about someone trying to trigger you, and it wasn't happening, because you just didn't care. I have the square from Mars in Pisces, so that's a more gentle energy anyway. IP: Logged |
