I think part of it that Saturn in Pisces is conjunct her North Node in Pisces! In short the universe is saying to Jennifer Lopez "You're on the wrong path!"------------------

She also apparently has Venus at 19*Gemini, so I think that's an applying square.

She has TR Saturn squaring her Venus now, even though the Saturn is in retrograde motion and has passed the exact square but will be back on.
She also has an exact connection of TR Nodes on her Chiron ( could be vice versa).
And TR Pluto is making an exact opposition to her SunIP: Logged |

I would want to say something can be reversed and renew later since there’re several retrogrades.
However, unfortunately, I think the story is you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

I just wanted to add that there is some consistency with the guys she has been with so far. She has Jup/Ura in Lib natally.So it makes sense that she would choose people who have those energies either conjunct or opposite the love interests' personal planets. But I am also seeing a pattern with her liking the Vir/Pis axis & Leo/Can energy. This perhaps in keeping with her being born just after the sign shift? Ojani Noah(1st hubby)-Jup in Pis, Sat/Merc in Can, Mars Leo. Casper Smart(ex boyfriend)-Pis Merc & Venus, N.node/Jup & Sun in Ari, Moon in Cancer. Mark Anthony(ex hubby)- Sun/Jup in Vir, Ven/Merc in Lib, Sat/North node in Aries, Moon in Cancer. Mars in Leo. Chris Judd(ex hubby)- Sun/Asc Leo,Ven Can,Moon/Mer in Vir. P Diddy(ex boyfriend)- Moon in Vir, Ven in Lib. Alex Rodriguez (ex boyfriend)- Sun Leo, Ven in Vir/Moon in Pis, Merc/Sat in Can. Ben Affleck(husband)- Can Asc/Ven, Sun/ Merc Leo,Mars Vir. She has said it herself that she is a "hopeless romantic" . So my thinking is that Neptune/Mars /Moon(maybe a wider aspect with the correct birth time)plays a big influence there? With that is the Plu in Vir forming a wide out of sign conjunction with Ura/Jup in Libra. She is part of that "free love" and "love revolution" generation. He said in a Playboy interview, in 1999, that he will just pretend to be okay with the person he's with, even when he's irritated, or upset, until he reaches a point where he's just passive-aggressive and ****** all the time. So, when she says something about him not having called, he'll say "Of course I didn't call" - insert insults here, because he wasn't adult enough to use his words, when they wouldn't be so hurtful. I can only speculate and talk from the sense I get about their relationship and divorce.She loves/loved him, he was infatuated with her on and off. Most Cancer rising want their partners to fit a traditional role which she wouldn't. He wanted to settle down with her because he thought it'd be enough for him that someone loves him, without reflecting on his own emotions, and she wants someone who treats her like a princess. Neither can offer what the other person is looking for.
Her Neptune must be strong, even after her first experience with him she still interpreted his tactics as love.
He is self-unaware (possibly unhealed trauma) and these individuals are better fit for a public role like in politics rather than personal relationships.
Her Saturn square his sun in Leo was probably harsh for him. Attractive at the beginning but tiring eventually for someone unhealed.
She should have worked on a relationship with herself first, dating him for a year or two, and maybe realizing she could do better than a former alcoholic, perhaps then the marriage wouldn't have happened. But if you ask me, she still won because she made millions from their love story movie. She and her team are smart people. And maybe that was the whole lesson for her because of her Saturn in Taurus. Let's see how their finances will go through the divorce process.

Good observation.
I think in her relationships with men and also herself because her sun sign is masculine, she struggles with self-worth (Sun square saturn) and anger (Sag mars), and those signs are less harsh and more caring, and tolerant of her energy, so she attracts them and feels comfortable around them.
It is possible that the divorce decision was formed when transit NN became opposite progressed composite Uranus.
