I am fascinated by painting and sculpture. But I don't work with those. Do you work with what fascinates you? Have you checked your chart to find out what fascinates you and what area you will work in? Whether they coincide or not?

No, but I used to jump right into trying new things that fascinated me.

I work with my hobbies; Cars and clothes/accessories. I am fascinated by murder and psychology (forensic psychology) and I was on my way choosing that path but life had different plans. Not sure what would show this in my chart.

I'm very mercurial, my Gemini Sun and Mercury in Gemini conjunction is extremely close.

I'm a full time developer, not as interested in the tech field as I use to.

It's either you start your own company and implement the type of solutions you want to or you get hired by someone and you end up working on something that your not as interested, but the salary is at least above average.

Right now my role is closer to what is called a CISA (Certified information systems auditor).
http://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/certified-information-systems-auditor.asp

It's the most stable cybersecurity role, but it's also the most boring.

You don't hang around the "cool kids",
Everyone thinks of security as either someone who is a pentester, whom simulates attacks on systems or as a SOC analyst that analyses all incoming packets into the network.

Most of my days I'm just hounding and keeping track of the different dev. teams, organizing what vulnerabilities still exist and coming up with mitigation plans.

But Idk, i'm finding I'm actually good at planning for disasters thanks to my insecure Cancer Parents.

They think everyone is out there to take advantage of them, so that sorta rubbed off on me as I was growing up.

In my evenings, i've been working on completing all the cybersecurity certifications in all of the security domains.

This is probably the best cert roadmap: http://pauljerimy.com/security-certification-roadmap/

From that chart I have certs in Communication and Network security, Security and Risk Mgt,
Security Operations.

Certs are a good way of saying you have the skillset or knowledge, but you need at least a Engineering or CS degree + some experience to make it work.

I'm also into 3D printing, you can build almost anything, just takes time and planning.

I own 2 Creality Ender 3 V3 SE and 1 AnyCubic Kobra 2 pro 3D printers. Thinking of getting a 4th machine.

My next build is a couple hydroponics towers:
http://www.printables.com/model/720081-modular-hydroponic-tower

I'm trying to test the theory if I can grow my own veggies and cut my dependency from going to the grocery store.

I work in and am fascinated by architecture, especially the sustainable and energy-efficient type.

I think it fits my Sun in Taurus in the 10th.

I am also involved in higher education. Jupiter conjunct AC and mercury in 9th.

So you like your job but are missing something exciting? Do you have any non-tech hobbies?

Thank you I feel blessed to be able to do what I like, as I fell in love with architecture when I was 12. Although now I'm tighter in the engineering part, but I do dream about having my own design firm in PA one day. So many beautiful lands here.

I have been trying to launch a fragrance line for a decade now, but the money always ends up getting spent on something else 😬

Venus rules my MC (in Taurus). Natal Venus in the 11th.

elisa1978x,

Do you have any Libra/Virgo placements? I find that in common in people who paint and particularly sculpt.

I'd say right place, just the wrong role. It's also very difficult to get a security related role in IT, your expected to have a good amount of experience and/or knowledge.

Eventually I will move up to the role I'd like, it's just a matter of staying positive and making sure you meet all the checkboxes.

My role requires me to have a security clearance and be a Canadian Citizen so I know I will never be outsourced.

I always considered working in tech a lifestyle.

9-5 your working your job and in the evenings your upgrading with what's upcoming.

Anyone that enters this field just because of the false impression that they'll get rich or to land a job will not last.

You have to have the passion and above all else the time to keep learning and upgrading, this suites my Jupiter Trine Mercury.

In addition you need the good intuition or sense to know which technologies will pick up down the road and which ones to avoid.

I am fascinated by many things which makes me hard to choose which one is the most. I just like learning about: ANYTHING. At least, it makes me seeing life less boring.

I used to be in IT field which I thought I would end up being there for the rest of my life as I had planned to take this and that certificate, but then I was unexpectedly in a political field and I hated it so much as I knew a lot of dirty sh*t in the government, like, yeah, not going to tell more about it. I respect people who choose in that field, but for me, well, I think it's a matter of your choice in this life.

Now, because of I have a little girl, I think I found what's work best suited for me after a long time trying to find what it is, it is doing a business. I have never felt this enjoy working and being true to myself while at the same time knowing my daughter safe with me. Busy day everyday, sometimes I work 'till midnight but I love it as the time can be flexible. I think at this moment, doing business is the activity I fascinated about since covid (I started my small business when covid happened as everything I could do just at home).

I think it's my Aries moon, as working independently is very much I like but also exploring getting more knowledge (as business needs you learn a lot) making your life less boring (people often say Gemini moon get bored easily, well, Aries moon secretly being quiet in the corner feeling bored in a sec). I do really like analyzing though, and I forgot what test I was in in the college but it said my strong point is in analyzing (my 10th house is in Virgo), and here I am, also being a trader in a stock market as I found it is fun to analyzing the screen. It's like playing a game and get the money. It's a fascinating activity too for me.

My moon is in 4th house, and yes, working from home is one of the best feeling.

Yes, I can see that the 10th house in Virgo can work with analysis and perfectionism, details.
My 10th house is in Leo, and I don't like being in the spotlight.
