both aspects can be used for good, in sacred geometry the square is used to create things (cross of matter) even used in the philosophers stone that is used to create gold, yes they can be hard aspects but that's why to learn astrology to explore the hardships and make them work in your favor.IP: Logged |

I have these aspects. I have Mars Square Uranus. Mars square Neptune. tbh these aspects are difficult for me to control, mars square uranus will not allow me to live in peace without being rebellious when there's conflict and different perspective. I have Cap Moon op Cancer Sun, Venus, Mercury, Saturn and all sq Pluto. I am an oxymoron and I also have internal battles of what is right or wrong; Ego vs Heart. I tend to navigate towards people that have Mutable placements so to not put more pressure on my Cardinal placements. My Sidereal and Draconic charts are purely Mutable. IP: Logged |

I think opposition is easier to deal with than squares. At least oppositions are complementary, there can be give and take, there can be growth. Squares, usually 2 people entrenched in their positions who can't see eye to eye. But not all squares are bad. Squares involving Gemini and Virgo are easier to deal with because they are both ruled by Mercury. Squares involving Pisces and Sagg can be easier also because they are both ruled by Jupiter. All other squares, especially the ones in fixed signs... kind of hellish.... IP: Logged |

My two cents.At least with oppositions it's like juggling two balls. With squares, it's like trying to eat a cereal bowl with a jagged knife. ------------------
