I'm mockingbird  Pisces Sun, Aqua Moon, Scorp Asc, Pisces Merc, Leo Mars, Taurus Venus...and nearly everything retrograde. I'm one of the mods over at Gaia's Garden, I think primarily because I keep chickens and intermittently try to help things grow. I'm also a Mom to three awesome little girls and have been known to prattle on about my husband ad nauseum. ------------------

I was introduced to astrology, including books by Linda Goodman, by a Wiccan who gave me shelter and her nephew. I experimented with it and finally came to accept it. I was on LL many years ago but I drifted away, and then after a lot happened I moved away from all my friends and settled where I had a lot of free time and came back to LL as a means to make up for having less people to talk to. While I sold most of my astrology books for a bus ticket I ended up getting some new ones and plan to give myself a refresher and expand into asteroids (which I used to ignore) but have only made slow progress on that. My granny, whom I lived with for nearly the first 5 years of my life and off and on until I was 14 said I reminded her of a little pixie when I was little, so instead of calling me Becky Jane she took to calling me Pixie Jane (later shortened to Pix). A few weeks before returning to LL I'd visited Granny again as she was recovering from a pulmonary embolism and she called me Pix again a few times so the name was fresh, and thus when I had to pick a name (as I couldn't access the old account, too many years had gone by) I chose PixieJane.
