Well, I started this site 11 years ago on a cool winter's morn. I didn't expect it to ever be very large. I had a few Forums and I was the only Mod for some time. What you now see is the result of years of tweaking, fine-tuning, and trial and error. Like human beings, Lindaland isn't perfect, but with all its imperfections and glitches, I Love this site. Likewise, I'm not perfect. I have made both good decisions and bad, but I always try to do what's best for Lindaland--to keep it Linda-centered and safe for all Knowflakes and Newflakes. I will step out of the spotlight now and allow your Mods to introduce and tell a little bit about themselves. ------------------

I  LLThat pretty much sums it up for me. I began reading here in August 2003 and then became a member in February 2004. Lindaland is an absolute dream come true for me.
I was and still am so impressed with our family of knowflakes.
I know you all, I know your Natals, I follow your posts,
I laugh with you and occasionally cry with you too.
Bottom line is

It is an honor to have Randall in to my life.It is an honor to be among people like Lalalinda,Nicki and and so many loved ones here.
LL has something which makes it a light.It probably is love.
We can all feel it.
I love Astrology .My passion gets stronger as I do Personal Readings.Astrology seems to offer the wisdom of the Universe if you will only study it which is hard as you all know.
I love to do charts. I love to learn about you and have you get to know me.

It doesn't happen all at once.You become.It takes a long time.That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily,or have sharp edges,or who have to be carefully kept.
Generally,by the time you are Real most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby.
But these things don't matter at all,because once you are Real you can't be ugly ,except to people who don't understand.

I've loved astrology for about 18 years now and I'm also a bit of a tarot fan(over 40 decks). I've studied a few things since my late teens, herbalism, crystals, dreams, flower remedies, I've looked at a lot of new age stuff too. I've worked as a pro clairvoyant & tarot reader since my mid twenties and used astrology alongside since 2001.I love reading, mainly philosophy and psychoanalytical stuff right now. I've got over 100 astrology books (my Aqua Jupiter in the 3rd has a tendency to go to extremes in this department). I can't live without music, my favourite incense is Satya superhits and I have a thing for solid colour candles (not the white ones that have been coated). I started writing more in 2008 and intend to continue with that until the day I die. I've got 2 websites and 3 blogs which I'm currently doing major edits on and I spend far too much time playing games on facebook to be effective at pushing my career forward. I like snow, orchids, tea and Starbucks. I live with my 4 youngest kids and 2 cats not far from Avebury in the Uk. I first started to coming to lindaland not long after it opened. I came and I went, came back again and then went again. I joined again whenever my profile says I did..I think it was sometime last year. I read starsigns back in 1994 and thought it was the best thing ever. I finally managed to get hold of Gooberz around 2001/2002. I liked Linda's style of writing as much as what she had to say. Do ya see what happens? I start talking and I don't shut up, just be glad you don't know me in real life cos I can do that for hours.....and hours. Sun - Leo

Hi.
Hmm. Still baking I'd say, although a lot more well cooked than I was when I first came here in 2002. Always had the same screen name, even through the crash. I come here for the information other knowflakes provide on astrology, health and healing, occassional relationship advice (never post about it anymore, just read) and general smiles. LL has morphed and changed over the years. People have come and gone, but it's just like life. Changeable and ever moving. Just like a wandering gypsy like myself enjoys. Living the non gypsy life now as a single mom. Just bought my first house in February, work full time in the legal field, and spend every spare second with my family. They are my world. I don't post as much as I used to, what with the day to day madness that is life, but I do stop in and check in on my friends here and newbies alike. It's a home away from home for sure. I am a joker, a lover, a caregiver and eternal mother to most of the people in my life. I pick my battles, learn from my mistakes and do my best to respect the earth and it's inhabitants, animal and human alike. Wish I were better with plants though. I certainly do not have a green thumb, try as I might. I recycle and repurpose everything I can, live in flowing skirts and jingly silver with massive earthly stones generally adorning my neck. I'm an easy to please person. Just like honesty, realness and love. Aqua sun beginning of 11th house

I started reading Linda Goodman's books at a young age. Found Lindaland in 2004 but didn't join immediately. This community is important to me because we learn from each other everyday. It's like a family and has been a great support system at times.I love the rain, music, turquoise and indigos, esoteric, metaphysical teachings, astrology, animals, the sea, cake and Randall (he's my rock). Much of my time is spent helping our animal brothers and sisters as well as terminally ill children whom are angels in disguise in my eyes. Most of you know about my struggle with diabetes which I believe will be cured one day. I try to be as fair as possible and see both sides of a situation. I'm intense and passionate although my humorous side surfaces quite often. That's it for now.  Sun Sagittarius

Hi I'm Stawr!
I moderate in Hearth and Home, and Aquarius Rising. I started my astrology thirst at 16 with those teen magazine scopes...and then I started reading horoscopes online, and by 18 I knew more than than the average Joe about astrology, and knew about more in depth things like natal birth charts...I continue to learn more and more about astrology. I also like to look into
*other branches of astrology (such as Chinese, Celtic, Egyptian, etc.)
*other branches of religion.
*psychology (I like understanding myself, and others too)
*healthy eating, and what is good for you. Lindaland is a very special place, where you can talk to people more in-depth about astrology...but also the people here are very supportive of each other, and have a good sense of humor. Travel, swimming (just for fun), music, my cat Bobby, my favorite friends and family, shopping, coffee/energy drinks... Are a few things that make me feel good about my self and make life worth it for me. I plan on becoming a preschool teacher, and right now I'm a teacher aide at preschool, and I am also taking classes at a community college for now.
Oh yeah! And I've been a member for almost a year now. Gemini Rising

for the little of you who dont alredy know, my name is Sara, im from Beirut and i'm almost 22 years old..
i found this site when i needed it the most, i never thought i could truly care for so many people who i have never really met, but i do..i try to be a very delicate libra girl but in truth im all mumble jumbled from all the scorpio in my chart.. regardless, if you meet me i come off as a well balanced (cap AC) sweet (libra sun) but intense (scorp moon) girl.. im a mod at Hearth and Home and Aqua rising, two new baby forums that have infinite prospects my astro knowledge is still shy, but this is the perfct place to learn.. im constantly in awe of all the great people who post here.. in short LL is a great place to be.. i might talk too much but i'm an excellent listener if you ever need me.. Hey everyone, Alma Sun here. You can call me Alma.. or Sun, or Alma Sun, just the initials is fine too.. lol, whichever you like. I chose the name because asteroid Alma conjuncts my Sun in Sag.
Anyway, my real name is Lisa. I was born in Boston MA. I'm a huge animal lover, especially cats and dogs. I looove thunderstorms.  The stronger & louder, the better! I enjoy music, it's one of the things that can soothe me no matter what type of day I'm having or what mood I happen to be in. I find myself enjoying reading, running, video games, hanging out with my brothers and a few of our closest friends. I love being a part of the LL community, it feels a little more like home everyday and I'm glad to be here and damn proud to be one of the mods. There's more I wanted to add.. but I can't think of anything else to say at the moment.
