Ok, so Gyps has a summer cold and insomnia, let's overlook that, and the subsequent spelling errors.
I was thinking about how wonderful it feels when you come back to the site and someone has said something nice about you in a thread, and you didn't even know that they noticed you, let alone had warm feelings towards you, so to that end, I'd like to start a thread where we say something nice about a fellow knowflake.
Here's the catch:
TRY, as hard as you can, to not make it one of your friends. Cuz then, it just clumps everybody up, and creates sides. So, just jump in there and go ahead and mention something about someone you don't have much interaction with, and maybe, if you are lucky, someone will do the same to you!
(Does NOT have to be the same person though, OK, go...!)To Betty Boop... I think your wealth of astro knowledge is incredible. Your brain must be the size of Texas. Not only that, but you state your opinions with grace and dignity and rarely get defensive if others do not agree with you. I love the way you take the time to EXPLAIN things, instead of the shortcut, a plus b equals c route that we can all read in books.

Well, I don't know you well, but I just think you are the sweetest thing. You remind me of a baby bird or a rabbit and you just seem so lovely and gentle, which I admire alot.

OMG Gypsee!!That's soooooooo absolutely sweet of you! I really wasn't expecting this - You're so nice!! I'm totally blushing right now  Sending you love right back I love reading your posts as well! You have so much life experience and you often give real-life examples from your friends/family. It's awesome because I'd much rather read about actual people and events - than the 'theoretical' stuff. And so often when we're discussing a contentious/taboo topic - I find myself agreeing with you 100%. Maybe it's my Saggy Uranus lol

this is a wonderful thread....ok, let me think....lei cracks me up....he doesnt post much (from what i see), but when he does its ridiculously hilarious...hes the kind of person that can say something when your having a bad day, and its so ridiculous that you cant help but laugh i dont know if geocentric valentine still comes around but she has such great astrological insight...i really value her input if i can think of anyone else then i'll certainly say something good about that person ------------------
I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

Lovely thread!! I'll play too..IQ blows me away with his dedication to research for the sake of research. He has been kind enough to share much of his time sharing his research, teaching and helping others here. charmainec is someone I can't help liking.. her sweetness and positive nature never fail to lift my spirits. I'm so glad we have dysfunctionalmystic in the Asteroid Forum.. she strikes me as very knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor to boot, and I enjoy her posts. darkdreamer is someone whose posts I have always enjoyed reading.. I still remember her dedication to learning - she came such a long way from her initial curiosity, with all the research she did here! I also liked her humility. I wish she still posted here sometimes. GypseeWind, I find myself liking you a lot.. I've gotten to know you just recently, and I really enjoy the positivity you bring to your posts. I hear you are quite the expert in the realms of the mind, and look forward to reading your posts there! juniperb's someone who impresses me with her kindness and mature approach.. she seems like someone I'd love to get to know better! LEXX's gentle nature and humility have never failed to move me. She manages to deal with her health issues in private, and still has kind sentiments to spare for others. She has amazing skills in lexigramming and other types of divination, and has been kind enough to share her knowledge here. Speaking of gentleness, I wish Azalaksh were still a regular here. 'zala's maturity and thoughtful nature were always welcoming to knowflakes, old & new. When I first joined some 6 years ago, her concerned posts in my thread kept me coming back to post, and I have never forgotten that. I've missed the presence of 'blue moon', especially in the Bizarre Holiday threads.. we used to have much fun celebrating all kinds of weirdness. Her sweetness also kept me coming back. I have also always enjoyed MyVirgoMask's insightful comments.. I think she still returns from time to time. Her unique skills and grasp of things mystical always amaze me, and she is a loyal friend.. Speaking of loyal friends, MysticMelody is someone I'm also very glad to have gotten to know through LL.. She was there for me when I was going through a really rough time, and I have nothing but love for that chica! Gosh, I could keep going, but I'll have to take a break to do some work and come back later..

I have been not as private about my health issues however of late. I figure it was time to reach out and see if anyone can give me any good advice. I have gotten much feedback!
And also cheer ups too which are a serious help on very bad times.
