I mean, I try not to get tangential, but every now and then something reminds me of something, or I try to lighten the mood. I try not to personally attack people. I'm starting to worry, though, and just want to make sure that I follow the rules. Plus, sometimes threads get way out of hand without the original starter of the thread intending that. No one is perfect. So...what exactly is the line drawn? What's considered "trolling" and what's considered an acceptable tangent? I just want to make sure that I follow the rules and everything. You just have to know what the rules are and work from there. Each situtation is different and being unbiased is a big key. Favortism is out the door when one is a Mod.
