I have a small question for you Randall. Why did you say I was better as a teacher but not as a moderator when I came with the idea? Don't you think I was deserving to be part of your stuff? Not that I am desperately want the post I am just curious to know what is your opinion about me and the job I did on this forum. Thank you!

You must have a thick skin to be a Mod. You are not there yet.

Excuse me? Thick skin?

I'm not the only one who doesnt have thick skin you know? Amy Anne is one of them and yet she is a mod. Please, bring other kind of excuses not this. I repeat, I am not interested in to be a moderator I was expecting a honest opinion. Thats all.

It's only rude because you choose to view it that way. It's not a harsh criticism; nor is it an insult. Just an observation. It is what it is. You yourself admit that you don't have a thick skin (when you said you are not the only one), so I fail to see how it is rude when you ask me a question, I give you honest feedback, and the reply is what you already know and admit about yourself. How is that rude?

Rosalind,

K, I just want to chime in here ... just a lil bit ... if that's ok with you

By saying that you don't have a thick skin, Randall actually means that you're not hardened enough to be able to take all the cr*p that's dished out. And frankly, very often Mods also have to take this cr*ap and handle it as though it doesn't bother them one little bit. But at the same time keep their objectivity about the situation and still see things clearly enough to put out fires when necessary or to take other necessary steps.

To not be hardened enough in life is imo a good thing (so I would take it as a compliment). It also means (at least to me) that you're a sensitive soul who can delve into the psyche of people quickly and know a lot of astrology so that you can help them by teaching them as you have a lot to share. This you do consistently and on a regular basis (which I think is pretty selfless of you--I don't think that's lost on anyone including Randall).

But being hardened in life also means developing a certain "thick" attitude toward life, a "couldn't care less" attitude which is certainly beneficial in some respects, but not in others.

For example, there is danger that in being hardened one may lose one's sensitivity (perhaps even empathy) toward others. For someone who's as psychic and empathic as you are, that may risk the loss of a very essential part of you that makes you who you are.

I think this is why people who are deeply sensitive, such as true psychics and clairvoyants, usually do not make good politicians or administrators for example.

Of course this doesn't mean that in time you couldn't manage both, i.e., Modship as well as what you do now, but I think all he's saying is that "you're not there yet," meaning you haven't yet developed that tough alligator type skin.

I don't want to be assuming the meaning behind Randall's post (or anyone else for that matter), but when I read it, this is how I took it.

So I would take it as a compliment that you're not hardened. Eventually, of course it would be up to you as to how you handle your own energy, but if it were me, I wouldn't want to lose my sensitivity, just to have a thick skin.

Again, this does not in any way mean that you couldn't manage to to both jobs in the future by not changing the sensitivity at all and slowly incorporating the hardening in your surface personality.

Just my 2 cents

Thank you Linda. You are sweet to explain me the hidden sides of Randall's post but again... before telling me that I'm not thick skinned enough to be a moderator on this forum he should check all his mods skin. I am NOT the only one who is like this yet people who are like me are moderators.

Understand this: I am not offended by the fact he doesnt give a mod job. I am offended with the low excuse he gave me. Sorry but its true. I talk here about FAIRNESS not about anything else. He doesnt give me a mod job because I'm soft skinned yet Amy Anne for ex who is even softer she is already a moderator. Is this fair? Randall, that wasnt an honest opinion of yours about me and you know that already. Better say that the moderators on this forum are the people you like and end the subject. Thats the honesty I want. Have no worries, the job I did here I did it because I wanted not because I was aiming to be a moderator. I was expecting just fairness and honesty.

Unfortunately... my job here is over.Regarding my FIXED beliefs... Its my right to stick with them since I already proved I tell the truth. Only those in denial can disagree with me.Its my right to have ego. Everyone has it. Its not a crime. I am a professional. I teach, I not being taught. What I know and do has already proved to be accurate. So... what should I do? To play dumb? No thanks.

Thank you. But like I was saying my job here is done. Was done the moment some people started to be rude. And no, its not Randall this time. His post didnt offend me that much. He is a good guy though. There were others. Its doesnt matter anymore. I am now keeping a blog which makes me very happy. At least there nobody is rude. They visit, read and gone. Simple as daylight.

Yes, i float on the PR forum quite a bit. I like Tarot... iam not very good at astro charts tho... I may have merc/gemini but the twins get restless once orbs and math formulas are introduced lol But a basic natal interp should be something i can prolly handle with little anxiety. Thankx for offering to be my lab monkey
