Anyway I did not even do a proper preparation, just spontaneiously pulled three cards.

I got:

Page of Swords - Thought
4 of cups - Discontent
9 of wands - recovery

I was flabbergasted how accurately this depicts my situation.

The cause of this "dis-ease" must be because I have overstrained my brain (probably that is why I dreamed two days ago I was having a brain-tumor.) Something about my thoughtprocess grew into the wrong direction, maybe simply too much, running in circles.
Pages are quite rash, and my thoughts have been flitting equally.
I also read that sometimes it can relate to thoughts or rumours concerning illnesses, which are not necessarily as bad as it seems.

This made me think of my brother`s situation and how it must have put a strain on me additionally.

Then the 4 of cups adding to that. Feeling very discontent at the moment. But without really getting active to change things. feeling stuck in some sort of morass.
(I know it will pass again)

And then the 9 of wands.
Going on and on and on, investing a lot of energy without really seeing an end of it. But there is no choice of giving up or backing up, but also no opportunity to rest.
Well it sais that in the end there will be success.

But I think these three cards clearly depict possible causes for my "dis-ease".

thoughts running (in circles?)
feelings of discontent and stagnation
investing more energy than I obviously have right now.

And that after four restful days. lol

Whenever I feel like this (minus the cold tho), I try to remind myself that if I've invested my energy in something good, with the highest intentions, then even if I don't see results panning out, the good I put into it will never go waste. Because goodness simply is never wasted in the Universe.

The accuracy of the cards is quite amazing though. I never put much store in Tarot but maybe I should give it a try.

Seriously, though with everything you've been through in the last few weeks, you do deserve a break, like maybe with some laughter.

So just to take your mind off of things temporarily, I'll tell you a joke -

You must have heard about the recent U.S. Secret Service scandal and the Colombian prostitute who was basically responsible for getting the SS men busted (for hiring prostitutes before the President's visit to Colombia).

Well this prostitute has since been enjoying her 15 mins. of fame giving interviews and what not (I'm sure there will soon be a book/movie deal for her, so she'll soon hobnob with the Hollywood celebrities some time in the future).

Anywhoz, here's the joke part. The same prostitute was recently heard complaining that all the publicity she received after the SS scandal broke out, has affected her reputation negatively!!

So, Jay Leno (talk show host of The Late Night Show), posed this question -

"What do you call a hooker with a bad reputation?"

Answer - "A politician."

This was my attempt to cheer you.

I agree with Linda . You need to include some serious fun in your life, definitely! And don't overthink things, it never does any good. Usually the first thought you had on the matter is the correct one, stressing over things endlessly just opens the abyss we talked about and I don't want you looking into that (anymore). Let it be. Everything is going to be alright. You are safe and you are loved. You are a miracle. Find joy in the minor things and laugh out loud and sing with your heart, enchant yourself back into life!
