It's all over in the news here. Hope you and your loved ones are fine.After the catastrophic storm that hit the mid-Atlantic region in late June in the US, it took the power companies 8-9 days to restore power to residents. And this was during a heat wave when we had temps. of over 100 deg. F(with heat indices of 115 deg. F). So over burdening of power grids/ repair of outdated power grids seems to be becoming a huge problem in the world due to excessive demand. I hope demand is the only reason for the failure and not some hidden terrorist act. Anyway, I'd like to join everyone at LL in sending good thoughts to the wonderful country of India and her people. Hopefully enough can be done soon to restore things to normalcy.      IP: Logged |

I hope he is okay too I'm sure he is. The Sun is to blame and will be emitting much more light this month. It's only the beginning. We are in the crucifixion stage right now. 97 percent of the ice sheet on top of Greenland melted in July. An iceberg twice the size of manhattan was released into the ocean late July. I actually saw the satellite image of the melted ice. It looked worrisome. This is the warmest 6-7 months we've had in the US. It can't be good. IP: Logged |
