I love you share your little bits of life with us Life is a gift, revel in it! ------------------ We need to listen to our own song, and share it with others, but not force it on them. Our songs are different. They should be in harmony with each other. ~ Mattie Stepanek IP: Logged |

Hakuna matata! Lexigrams to: AH HA! THANK THAT! quote: Hakuna matata is a Swahili phrase that is literally translated as "There are no worries". It is sometimes translated as "no worries", although is more commonly used similarly to the American English phrase "no problem".

Aw, that's so nice to hear. I have been struggling, but the other day I think I might have seen a hint of light so that, plus this post gives me hope. Also, it's always nice to hear when people are happy.Congrats on your happiness! The rarest commodity in the world, it would seem. IP: Logged |

In my case, i've had such serious ups and downs, that over time, it's given me new perspective and it's hard not to find things to appreciate. I'm currently making a major life change. Years ago it might have made me really sad, but I've been through so much that I'm instead really excited about it now. Whatcha got to throw at me world??? Give it to me!!! I'm ready! lol Bring it! To anyone struggling...As much as I don't always think one should or needs to do this (at least constantly, so as not to invalidate their current feelings), try to remind yourself of how good you might have it. I see so much poverty, in all areas of people's lives everyday, that it makes it very hard to feel sorry for myself anymore. Just a suggestion because if you arent careful you could find yourself slipping into a darker place than you already are. IP: Logged |

I'm always aware of how lucky I have it in ways - it's just like christmas, though: as much as I appreciated the new computer, it means nothing if my relationships are screwed up, you know? IP: Logged |

I loved readind the responses and been surprised at how many there were.I have been in dark places myself, actually in constant transformation, but thought I`d like to share the good, too. Not just the dark. My mom tells me that one of her fondest memories of me as a little kid was when I was maybe 3 years old, and I was wrapping my arms around her and looking around me and with a sigh said: "Oh mommy, life is beautiful." Though I don`t remember that occasion, I like that memory.
And sometimes, and even more often now, I can feel it from the bottom of my heart again. The beauty that is in life. And I am so thankful for being able to see it that way, cause I also remember how it was to look at the world with eyes that could only see grey and dull. So I am just celebrating having reconnected with myself and the world in general I guess. And sometimes I am so full of love with life that I fear I might explode, if I dont´t share it now and then. Aw, I have a story like that too. I remember being about six and watching my parents kissing at the top of the stairs, and all this sunlight was pouring around them, making them glow. I started crying because I was simply overcome and when they raced down the stairs to ask me why I was crying I said "because I'm just so happy!" Sensitive little Cancerian. Lol. IP: Logged |
