Cloud Atlas[Its just been released on my side of the ocean] An exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution. Good movie if you are interested in past lives. As a standalone even if you don't care for such motifs, it has some really funny and also tear jerking scenes The actions sequences, while sparse in comparison to their work on the Matrix Trilogy is still phenomenal ------ ------------------ ~*~ Did you know that a circle is round? ~*~ - Tautology You can't handle my level of Tinfoil! ~ {;,;} IP: Logged |

I soooo want to see it.I have the book hanging out waiting to be read on my Kindle, but haven't gotten around to it. The movie came out this summer when my wee one was a newborn and I like other movie patrons, so we didn't go. IP: Logged |

:::Spolier Alert:::I spent about 2hours last nite after the late premier laying awake trying to piece together all the identities betwixt all the plots... Then I found this very handy chart Bigger Sized Version Here http://www.cinemablend.com/images/news/33823/_1351547825.jpg ------------------ ~*~ Did you know that a circle is round? ~*~ - Tautology You can't handle my level of Tinfoil! ~ {;,;} IP: Logged |

Well there is no key map, yet the positioning suggest character plot points, the more minor screen time characters (yet still significant to key plot arcs)This is where my brain was running loops last nite... ------------------ ~*~ Did you know that a circle is round? ~*~ - Tautology You can't handle my level of Tinfoil! ~ {;,;} IP: Logged |

I went to the midnight movie premiere and I made sure I stayed awake. I saw it twice afterwards.... That movie was so soul touching to me. The group I went with didn't entirely understand much of it by I cried my eyes out towards the end when they were on the tightrope. It was so touching. I would watch it ten more times IP: Logged |

the number six is a prominent theme: Connects above and below, reconciliation, intellectual creativity, discrimination, imagination, union, love, perfection, ability to use the imagination and the intellect combined, relatedness, taking responsibility for choices. IP: Logged |

I was completely enthralled by this movie from the first minute. I wasn't expecting a movie like this to be made at this time and I'm so grateful it was. It confirmed many things that I 'knew' and I feel a lot less alone than I did before I saw it. The charts are great! I'm going to watch it again (and again) and allow myself to just be 'in it', as I feel there are layers of meaning that appear when we watch it multiple times. IP: Logged |

I've now read the book and am going to (finally) watch the movie this weekend when I have 3 hours to sit down without interruption.------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Please excuse all outrageous typos and confusing auto-corrects. IP: Logged |
