I understand what you are saying, and do not disagree.

Hence, I am currently reflecting upon the comments/feedback that has been provided on this thread ... and coming gradually to the conclusion that astrology forums are no longer the right place for me to express my views/opinions/beliefs, or to start/open thread topics - but are perhaps still a place for me to contribute something.

i would assume it wouldn't have been moved if there was some astrological discussion prompt in the topic because then it would've fit the board you chose to post on (personally i don't think anything here moves quickly enough to warrant moving much of anything even if it doesn't fit, because there's so many different places to post and not enough active people so it's sort of like... well who gives a **** really?)

i don't know him to judge, but i know if i were in his position i would probably give it a few to see if it became an astrological discussion before moving it (actually that's not even true i probably would just have left it alone out of a lack of caring, when i've been in places where i've been a mod i just don't actually do anything ever because i generally feel like people should sort their own **** short of anything overtly illegal, but let's pretend i'm the type to care about what goes where for the sake of discussion) rather than immediately shutting down something that was generating discussion on a very slow moving site

that makes the most sense to me, though you phrase that in a way where you seem to think there were other motives (he can be a bit of a killjoy when it comes to arguments/discussions and closing threads when those happen, but i don't think you and i were hitting low enough for that) and i can't personally think of any

you've been here longer, you know him better, i'm sure you have insight i don't (though that doesn't mean you're right necessarily, still i'd humor you enough to listen) so i'm curious why do you think it was moved if not for the reason he gave?

i don't think him posting initially necessarily means much, and technically he gave it a chance for it to become about astrology before he moved it by commenting a second time and saying as much

to me that suggests he was waiting because the topic was intriguing enough for him to be interested and was generating responses, but after some time without that felt it needed to be moved

just my guess though, don't know the guy, can't say anything for sure but it seems pretty cut and dry in my view

as for what you said in another response about feeling like you shouldn't have these discussions here, if you mean LL just in general i disagree because if you have the interest in both astrology and these topics then you're on a site where you have access to accurate charts of the people you're speaking to

in which case you can find your own patterns and **** based on responses even if astrology doesnt come up in the discussion
