"Pulp Fiction" and "The Family Stone" are terrible movies. Both movies were revered, and when we watched them, we said, "What the hell was that?!" IP: Logged |

That astrology is not a direct cause of events, feelings/moods, etc, etc, except in the case of major Solar events and some Lunar cycles (these can have direct influence at times). That astrology no more causes anything than tea leaves or tarot cards being read cause whatever those are correlating with. I'm guessing this is an unpopular opinion since I constantly see people on this forum speak as if astrology was causing stuff directly. Maybe it is just easier for people to speak of it in such a simplistic a way rather than prefacing with, "the astrology correlates with or indicates by reflection." At the end of the day, most astrology is about a kind of Jungian synchronicity that exists because we live in a reality, that at its core, is completely interconnected and One--hence one part or level of reality can mirror another part or level. Capricorn placements: "Don't love me. I don't want you to love me".Editing... At an unspecified time... "I can't trust you. I'm afraid of being hurt. Again. I have been in such great pain my whole life. No, never again". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOaP5aUC-lI IP: Logged |

Eternal, is your ex a Capricorn? Some of us Capricorns have pretty open hearts (or did), believe it or not. IP: Logged |

You not only have sweet hearts, but very sensitive as well, and those who say that you are cold and distant have obviously not truly loved you. As for whether you are open or not, you are not. You find yourself having difficulty trusting someone. You find yourself having difficulty taking something that is given to you wholeheartedly. You have to torture yourself first, so as to accept somewhere in the end to take only what you think you are deserved to. The denial of your emotions is a constant inner battle. You would hurt yourself by supressing your feelings rather than expressing them. You always block yourself. You always stay silent. You find yourself having difficulty saying 'I love you' and when you do, it comes out in a rather awkward way, let alone that you say it once every x years. Those of you who truly love you understand. The rest would just say that you are cold-hearted. As for you sweet Galactic, you are the exception to the Capricorn rule. It is the first time in my life that I meet someone with Capricorn placements who doesn't withhold, suppress, deny or torture his feelings. (No, ex husband is Taurus! And actually, all my male friends are Tauruses)

That was a twist I didn't see coming, Eternal (about your ex being a Taurus), but astrologically it makes sense since I think I remember you have Scorpio Asc? Partner's Sun in or near our 7th is a pretty powerful interaspect to have, and fairly common in closer connections. As to Capricorn, the usual vs the exception.. I do withhold, suppress, deny, and torture my feelings in relation to one person, but not generally. Strong Leo, Jupiter, and Venus combo helps to counterbalance the Capricorness stuff when it comes to feelings. Plus, moderate Moon shading in specifically to my Capricorn and Aquarius via the faster moving ruler of these widely conjunct the Moon, ruler of the 12th. IP: Logged |

Thank you for sharing Eternal. You have an interesting balance between Fixed and Mutable. Btw, I should be direct and transparent with you. I was partly asking because I was curious how your Scorp Asc was modified by Mars placement, but it was also a puzzle piece to figure out your full chart. Which I'm pretty sure I have narrowed down to two days. But since I don't think I've seen you share it publicly (?), I will keep it (and other placements you haven't mentioned, or haven't mentioned for awhile) to myself. IP: Logged |
