When did you join Lindaland and why?

I joined March 24th. 2005
after my husband had
a near death experience
And yes did need resuscitated
After his heart stopped
on March 19th.2005.
I desperately needed some
pleasant place to be at to help me get through it all.
To my complete delight
I found that people were interested in Lexagramming here!
(Though here it was spelled
with an i not an a)

I had been doing Lexagramming since 1959.

So I stayed and it is going on 17 years here as of
This coming March 24th.

Hoping for many more years
of doing my Lexagrammings/Lexigrammings
to come to be true and be added
to
my almost 62 years to date of
my Lexigramming passion!

Please pardon typo mess at end of title.
It was meant to be a heart shape not a mess.

September 2002. We were about to watch Lord of the Rings, my sister was happy. She was talking to me, as I signed up, and used to lurk here. I had found this place through another Linda Goodman board, and signed up that evening.

Thankfully there are at least 24 dialects of the English language there in the USA, besides the 3 basic, thus giving you the advantage of having even more freedom while forming acceptable dialectical variations and helping you produce a beautiful reduced output of lexagramming. You know of course that Spanish is another primary language of almost 20 countries or more, and although Spanish speakers tend to rely a lot more on simpler verb forms, they present a better subject-verb agreement, due to the fact that cue validity of subject-verb agreement in Spanish scores higher rates than in English. Nevertheless, I believe that you would agree that even when tense is impaired, agreement always compensates for any dissociation in linguistic constructs.

I first came here on 5/23/2020 on Karma thread. I really don't know how I found you. It was totally by chance. I was trying to find some logical answers about fate.

Joined when I was 18...I was captivated by Astrology and the potential it could do.

I thought it could solve everything....
Heck, with my train of thought at the time...I would have probably tried to use Astrology to solve World Hunger, lol.

As time when on and I got older I realized Astrology doesn't always work.....lots of outside variables to factor in.

I am a Christian/Messianic Jew. I always loved astrology but gave it up when my Messianic rabbi told me it was demonic. I threw all my books away. He said to burn them but throwing them away would do. It was a sad day to see them in the garbage pail.

After the loss of a loved one, I got closer to God. I really only wanted to serve Him. One night at 3 AM, I woke up and a "voice" inside me said to study astrology. I prayed about it for 3 weeks. I felt I should go forward. So, I joined LL about ten years ago.

So many people were so wonderful to me. I fell in love with astrology and kept being led to do more with it. If God led me to never do it again, I would be fine. I don't have much ego in it.However, God kept leading me to go on with it.

Funnily, I have Astrowizard conjunct the ASC but I don't feel any of it is from me. My charts are my service to God.
I love doing charts so much that I think people should pay me for allowing them to do their charts.

Joined back in 2012 when I was 18. Had been reading the posts for quite sometime before I joined, used to think sand owned the place and Randall was a troll when I was going through the posts before I joined rofl. I joined cuz I had been delving into astrology for almost 2 years and wanted a reading. Used to think I could manipulate my way through the world purely relying upon astrological knowledge back then. I remember Ami giving me my first reading here in a thread in Astrology for Beginners, that was very fortunate for me, otherwise I might have just left because of lack of feedback.

Over the years I have made plenty of friends here, people I have loved, and I thank LL for giving me the platform to meet them, Randall you are a great webmaster.

I joined in 2010. It was a few months after I was completely done with an ex and moved back in with parents. I had more time to my self and a lot of down time. I remember starting to lurk here I don't know how or why I stumbled upon this place. But it didn't take me long to want to be apart of the conversations. It is pretty amazing that I have stuck with it for almost 12 years now.

@stawr , our coming here sounds similar.
I too had some things that brought me here. I wonder what your transits were then?
