I almost shared this in another thread but decided it's too trivial, and I only thought of it because of Halloween coming up.I personally loved this one. It's not jump scares and over the top CGI. It reminds me of the old horror writers like Lovecraft, Bloch, and Clark Ashton Smith of the old Weird Tales and similar publications. Cosmic horror of suspense, a search of wisdom and divinity that made them wish to retreat to blessed ignorance (even if it was delaying the inevitable).
What if the light at the end of the tunnel is the soul eating maw of something we can't truly comprehend? The hypnotic domination of a merciless vampire? And is it beauty, horror, madness, enlightenment, all the above?
I start it a few seconds in and is over before the 7 minute mark, so about 6 minutes. Because it reminded me of the authors I listed, it does mean that it slowly builds (even in that small amount of time), which was fascinating to me when mixed with modern technology (including that which has contributed to our shortened attention spans).
If it sounds intriguing, then I hope you enjoy. If it doesn't sound like your cup of tea, then skip.
