jwhop it has been brought home to me in the last 48 hours that this life is too short to spend arguing with you. so i will say this and that is the end for me. put one or even a hundred bosses in jail (where their money is still working for them and making life less than miserable while inside) and one hundred TEN will jump into their places. put some regulations on the corporations and honest regulators in charge of those regulations and the need to spend millions (app $30 grand a year EACH prisoner)on incarceration as well as the problems they caused in the first place - up in smoke. like i said everyone is a critic. have fun. but whatever you do, don't go to the circus - i mean gulf of mexico - and do anything about it yourself. Only a man of no character whatsoever would accuse someone of something they didn't do acoustic and you have a long history of doing just that.Enjoy your delusions. I'd write something in response katatonic...but you indicated you wouldn't be here to see it. IP: Logged |

You have a long history of doing that, Jwhop. Where is that brownshirt army you said Obama was trying to build? Or how about your calling Dr. Emanuel "Dr. Death," because of ethics papers he's written? How about calling John Kerry a traitor when Nixon had Kerry followed around, and didn't do a single thing about his so-called "treason"? There's no one around here more slanderous than you, which is why you have no credibility. Like I said, develop some character, and THEN people might start giving you an ear.IP: Logged |

Those were O'Bomber's own words acoustic. Are you calling O'Bomber a liar? "We need a "civilian national security force", just as powerful, just as strong and just as well funded as our military force." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwaAVJITx1Y Comrade, your papers please. On the other hand acoustic, you have accused without any proof..in fact, you've accused against facts which were known at the time. This is the mark of a person of low to no character who knows he's lying through his teeth but does it anyway for his political ideology. IP: Logged |

well when you exclude the voting block most likely to approve of obama on the specious grounds that they are not likely to vote (even though they obviously DID vote - for obama) it is likely you will get low approval ratings. i don't suppose there is any motive behind that M.O. of rasmussens...or is there?while there certainly IS a motive in the anti-obama crowd endorsing such an exclusive poll regularly. Daily Presidential Tracking Poll Monday, April 11, 2011The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 19% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20 (see trends). Today’s numbers reflect the lowest level of Strong Approval yet recorded for this president. There has been a sharp decline in enthusiasm among liberal voters. Currently, just 37% of liberals Strongly Approve of the president’s performance. That’s down from 63% a year ago, 57% at the beginning of 2011, and 52% a week ago. Some liberal commentators have expressed disappointment with the president over the extension of the Bush tax cuts, the military action in Libya, and, most recently, the budget deal to avert a partial shutdown of the federal government. While liberal enthusiasm may be declining, 57% of voters believe the president is more liberal than they are. www.rasmussenreports.com

You still don't get it...do you??NO respondents to the Rasmussen Polls are excluded. Rasmussen does not poll the uninvolved, the lazy, the shiftless, the self absorbed who think they're above it all or those unregistered to vote. Rasmussen polls those likely to vote; those whose opinions matter in America...and no one else. That's the reason Rasmussen Polls are so accurate. IP: Logged |

as to whom they poll, i consider it the highest form of hypocrisy for them to decide who is likely and who unlikely to vote. and how do they find these people? by the way they dress? the colour of their skin? online sites that show income or voting records? please enlighten me as to how they know, for instance that i am unlikely to vote? they have never polled me or any of my voting acquaintances! i don't know how many people you come across in the course of your daily life, jwhop, but i see a lot of people who have never missed an election and also have never been polled. Obviously, you can't read the text of the Rasmussen Poll.If you did...or even could, you would have discovered that particular poll is all about "likely voter" INTENSITY. That's the reason only STRONGLY APPROVE AND STRONGLY DISAPPROVE are listed...in that poll and also the reason the numbers don't add up to 100%. Further, it's an Index. "The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve." IP: Logged |
