) http://www.kiterunnermovie.com/ I watched this film yesterday and very much liked it. it's set in kaboul, afghanistan, in the 70's, and we witness two kids ggrowing up in a muslim environment, until the russians invade the country. later in the film, one of the kid who has emigrated in the US comes back to the afghanistan of the talibans. very moving film...
this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8L7HDYNQ58 is a prayer and some words are in english. I thought they allow english speakers to have an insight into muslim religious philosophies.
