Yin Someday you'll see the truth, Xodian, when it shows up on network television. In the meantime, while you're pouring over the next glossy videogame guide, we're in the business of researching alternative therapies and promoting life-saving cures that've been suppressed and concealed for decades. I'm glad you're so proud of the work you do, whatever it is. I'm very proud of the non-profit work I do, bringing life-saving knowledge to a largely ungrateful and insulting public. It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it.

And that Mr. Valus counts as another strike against you . Keep in mind that you are allowed to say whatever you want as openly you want but there are concequences for making brazzen and outlanding remarks that directly target another member of this forum. I actually don't mind that the people in question go about doing their research on "alternative" (I choose to call it baseless idiocy) therapies . What I do mind is the fact that when they DO get sick doing their "Alternative" based work, the run towards the nearest hospital and want help from the oh so regular doctors that they choose to insult . I can think of way too many examples of people ODing on "herbal medicine" that needed to be carted in St. Mikes in Toronto. So unforunately we can't let them face the concequences of their actions through the loss of their lives since that is unethical. Yet they still don't learn their lesson and continue on experimenting with these drugs. Well... That is the VERY defination of ignorance . IP: Logged |

You're a riot, lol! You actually think of yourself as some kind of authority figure. Take your worst shot. I won't flinch. The definition of ignorance is being uninformed, Xodian. And that's you, right now. Sadly, you're the one who's missing out. And though I'd rather cheer, I just feel sorry for you. 'Nuff said. IP: Logged |

Unbiased opinions don't mean you have the right to use brazzen comments against the other person . Not in LLC anyway. Wanna play "lets get nasty?" There is always Global Unity .IP: Logged |

Oh Valus... I don't need to do anything . You are digging your grave yourself. Just be ready to lay in it. IP: Logged |

Not really. Its an expression which means that you are creating a situation which could harm you. A Brazen comment would be something like (and this is an example ) "Your hippy idiotic ways are so going to nip you in the butt!"IP: Logged |

But then the exact statement in question is (and I quote) "You are digging your own grave." Meaning I am not digging a grave (or in literal terms, creating a hostile situation) for him. He is doing it to himself, which isn't a contextual threat at all in anyway. As a mod, I can only pinpoint out the obvious rules in question that are being broken and this is not an isolated incident when it comes to Valus' behvior. So he should keep it all in mind. Oh, we can rely on Xodian, Yin. No worries there. Surely, somebody as intelligent and unbiased as he is can see how braZen it is to tell somebody you would KILL them, as koiflower did twice. Nothing escapes Xodian's watchful eye. IP: Logged |

I did say execute - but what I meant to say was "punch them on the nose, slice their eyelids off, lay them in the burning outback sun until they go blind and let the red ants gnaw on their skin and whatever lies under it"I'm sorry for not being specific enough. IP: Logged |

Oh let's remember it in context huh? http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum25/HTML/001419-3.html quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "The amount of Cancer in your body is approximately proportional to the amount of animal protein you consume. I hesitate to call that poetic justice, but it certainly has a nice ring to it, don't you think?" -------------------------------------------- This is the most idiotic comment I have come across lately.I lost a very dear friend to lung cancer a few years ago. The man was a vegetarian all his life, never drank alcohol or smoked, and spent his days in meditation, prayers and painting. He was an artist and started having his own exhibitions in London venues and people were discovering him and buying his works. Than he was diagnosed with lung cancer and was gone in 5 months. My ex husband took him on a trip to Philippines to see a holistic healer. Before they went on the plane, my friend ASKED me to par boil him some white fish, first time in many years. Why? Because he was so weak, he thought he wouldn't make it on the plane. Plant food no longer sustained his skeletal frame. The phillipino healer took one look at him and said he was too sick to be treated. My ex brought him back to die, whihch he did a few weeks later. HE DID NOT HAVE ANY ANIMAL PROTEIN IN HIS BODY TO TURN INTO CANCER, as you poetically expressed, valus. NO, IT DOES NOT HAVE A NICE RING TO IT, as you suggest. You know too little and you talk too much. I would like to call you a name starting with letter "m" for your ignorant comment, but I am sitting on my hands. My friend was 42.

quote:Patients diagnosed with Cancer are misled about the amount of time they have left; they're rushed, scared, and pressured to make a decision to begin the severe "treatments" of the AMA. The truth is, unbiased research has shown that patients who don't receive "treatment", live longer, with a better quality of life. :endquote If someone said this to any of my loved ones diagnosed with cancer, I would execute them on the spot. Go work in a cancer ward and tell that to the patients. I dare you...It was me that said 'execute'. And I would want to execute any dickhead who said this to my face about any one of my family members. You're twisting words. Go to a cancer ward and say this... not to me. I'm not important in this thread as I don't have cancer. Telling someone to not trust their doctor is a form of execution. Lecture to follow? As I reiterate...... Don't tell me, tell the patients in a cancer ward. I dare you.

Cancer doesn't seem to discriminate - One close friend died at 43 and she made healthy dietary choices, didn't drink or smoke and had an amzaingly positive outlook on life.My other friend died at 48. She too, made healthy choices, was a dedicated Mormon and also had an amazingly positive outlook on life. Can we really determine who will get cancer? Sorry to hear about your friend, Abs. sad. I'm not sure what I will do if I get cancer. Try whatever is available, I imagine. But also try to come to terms that it could be the disease that will eventually takes my life. IP: Logged |
