as california gears up to vote on whether to legalise marijuana statewide (with consequently MORE penalties for use outside the confines of the regulations instead of LESS) the attempt to demonize weed continues apace, with scientists trying to tie use to the development of schizophrenia.the link points out that ever since "reefer madness" that film engineered to scare people away from the weed...people have been trying to prove that it contributes to mental illness. the fact that schizophrenia rates have NOT risen but marijuana use HAS is just another inconvenient fact they are trying to ignore in order to establish their case...
