Sorry if this isn't the right forum for this question yet...I'm new here. A friend of mine is big into NWO research: Freeman, Alister Crowley, the Masons, Alex Jones, etc. Occasionally when talking to him, I notice I begin to FEEL really BAD. The talk of being enslaved, of being controlled by a corporate/political order of Masons, of visions of what our world MIGHT one day look like, seems to me to be a very negative food to take in spiritually. It seems the criers of the NWO are the other side of the coin of the corporate masters they warn about. The whole story is right/wrong, for/against and very polarizing, not to mention cerebral. On the spiritual path, we look towards love, healing, empathy, compassion, higher states of awareness and consciousness. Also, to become ONE with Source, to feel empty, to be a vessel for what is and to receive sourced information. I find it difficult to reconcile the anger/vehemence/frustration/powerlessness that sometimes marks the criers of the NWO with a spiritual outlook. Has anyone felt a conflict with this? I am examining why it is that I feel almost poisoned at times by too much NWO/conspiracy talk. There is being informed and seeing what is out there and accepting what has been experienced, but becoming so invested in EITHER side of the debate, seems very polarizing, and takes me away from a balanced state. I do watch and read the news and consider myself fairly well informed about a lot of political/economic news, both mainstream and alternative. But a steady diet of either makes me feel sick. The spiritual path seems to lay outside both of these realms. I would love to hear from anyone that can relate at all. IP: Logged |

i'm with you, new jersey! when you get that drained, heavy foreboding feeling you are focussing on the dark too much. while i appreciate the info to a point i have had to stand back to get some perspective on it.the disease of waiting for/worrying about doomsday is rife these days. poisonous. somethings can be farfetched such as beyonce being a satan worshipper lolUnfornately a lot of the other more frightening theroies seem to be fact based but who really knows. I was watching an A and E special on both the so called illumnati and then another one on ancient aliens.. early paintings showed space ships seeding Jesus etc it's taken from sumerian creation story, then the illmanti have knowledge of astrology stars etc seem to have knowledge of spirtuality so why do negative things if these theories are true? it's not making sense to me another more frightening theory was one where they rule both the spirit world and here and we are here as a trap,.. i don't know.. evil is not a black and white thing... at it's core it's really just selfishness or if there is some kind of desperation people will resort to these tatics.. in the end good always wins as like attracts like and the evil doers eventually turn against themselves I've learned to just stop focusing on these things as I will never know what's fact and what isn't just frighting theroies. I have enough on my plate lol can't stay up at night worrying about this.. whatever happens, happens I can't control anything so why dwell on it. IP: Logged |

hi puppet04. in yoga, we seek to re-unite our consciousness with the universe, to experience the inter-connectedness of all things. in doing so, we find that our essence is love, our essence is endless and boundless. the political and social machinations of our current time existed in some form or another in all/most civilizations. yes, i know about the sumerians and how some believe our great leap in human civilization around that time is due to alien intervention by the Annunaki, who pushed us along the evolutionary path.anyway, if all we can truly live is NOW and if our essence is eternal and boundless as energy can not be destroyed, it can only CHANGE FORM, then to focus on the possibility of doomsday or human enslavement or what have you just seems to take us away from our true essence. the doomsday criers say the corporate rulers distract us with media/possessions/sex/etc to dull us from our true nature, but what do the doomsday criers feed as the option? not love, compassion, and healing! Welcome to LindaLand.I agree to a point. Whenever I flip the switch, turn the intra dial- I will come into contact with someone that makes me say "no" no way-- I am going back to the uninformed state I purposely put myself in (in the past) Was I happier? More than likely  I have not found the balance. Maybe If I didn't have so many personal worries, and a better sex/ love life it would be a different story. IP: Logged |

Hi Mochi, thanks for your response.. just something i have hard time with always understanding spirtuality why we are here, why we seperate from oneness in first place.. yeah def the creation story freaked me out, slave race expierment etc if that's true lol i'll be mortified IP: Logged | |
