I said I wasn't coming back either, and have avoided most forums. I just took a peek in here and found this. PDF has angered me at times, with the way he has spoken to Ami, and certain things he's done - I was surprised he wasn't banned when he posted personal information, a few months ago, in a thread that I emailed to LaLa, to be removed (which she quickly took care of), and I told him that it was out of line.

I didn't think that Pluto had anything to do with his banning, I just wondered what was going on, because I didn't see anything worthy of banning (unless a thread was deleted). If he hasn't spoken to Randall privately, then I don't see what the problem is, since he didn't do anything.

1) as far as i'm concerned this is not really about PDF.

2) i have not been speculating, i have been TRYING TO AVOID SPECULATING by asking out front what happened.

3) this is the LAST time i am going to say this is NOT ABOUT protecting people i prefer from other people. in fact it is not about people's personalities at all.

that is why this thread is about Political Correctness, not Why PDF Left.

so randall, if i spend tonight indulging myself in fantasies of how i will make a media splash by shouting from the empire state building that rush limbaugh not only is a lying self-serving greedy ba'tard but that i am sure he uses "112" (have you heard of this new product) that entitles limbaugh to have me arrested for slander? because i was THINKING about how NICE it would be to ruin his rep?

I do agree with this statement in the sense that it's important to not boil things down to simplicity and remove Nuance from human interactions.

Please don't leave. You are awesome and have so many valuable contributions. I'm sorry you are feeling the way you do. There are also many things I feel that I just don't know. I really didn't know PDF other than from a few posts nor did I really know the people that left or asked to be banned.

It's sad that anyone would feel uncomfortable coming here. That is why I apologized to the group, last week.

I am not here to drive anyone out. I feel bad that my "booming intense" personality scorched some people to the point of leaving... but, in that moment I felt that I needed to protect Randall.

There were also a few weeks of not understanding what was going on here with dynamics and personalities.

Anyways, I hope that you won't feel uncomfortable and that you will continue to post. I have started to understand you and your friends a bit better, and hope that you would continue to allow me to...

@randall - yes, i am sorry for not being more sensitive to the position YOU are in,..i would not want to have to wield the axe, so to speak, and i recognize that it IS a very hard job, drawing lines in the sand can bring out the challenger in a lot of people and NOT drawing lines in the sand means no one knows what is too much.

@the ladies; sorry if discussing PDF confused the issue. his was the "case" that sparked the topic of Political Correctness, so yes i did refer to it but the point was never about PDF PERSONALLY, except in the most coincidental manner.

Politically Correct is often misused in the strictest sence of the term and does not imply manners per se.

Good manners is NOT calling some one an idiot but has nothing to do with P.C.

Bear says HI. He's been busy with the field training (he's in charge of all the field exercises out here for the Soldiers) and with us getting settled. It's so good to be back home
