I haven't read the other posts but Bradley Manning is a hero and Julian Assange is doing his job as an investigative journalist.

Bradley Manning is a disturbed young man that was angry at his own sexual orientation not being accepted from the time he was a kid in school. He was further angry over the fact that his boyfriend dumped him and his own behavior got him into trouble and resulted in a demotion. he DID not do what he did with the intent of helping others or shining a light on atrocities. He did it with malicious intent and Assange took that intent to the extremes. Then again Quinnie, some people thought Hitler was a hero and we all know how that ended don't we. IP: Logged |

Bears...I don't think that is an apt comparison in any way.... Bush or Blair and Hitler yes, but Manning and Hitler...NOSo you know this guy personally do you? You accept the information or character assassination from a 3rd party do you?

Manning commited treason. I do have more insight into his story than most people do. Maybe you should read through this thread to get an idea of how I would know more than the average person instead of spouting off like some Anti-American know it all. You already gave away your ignorance when you stated you had not read through this thread. Am I an American? Yep. Am I proud? Yep, especially after living overseas for a few years and my husband being stationed overseas for more than 12 years plus 3 deployments. Yes I'm anti-American and proud!!!As a human being all I can see is the suffering of people BECAUSE of an illegal war. People will be killed regardless... Information leaking will put lives at risk but so will the continuation of war crimes.
The military (worldwide) is using Bulling tactics.
I will not accept your information just because it comes from official sources. They are the very sources I trust least of all. As to Manning committing treason, how did he get access to the information in the first place? If soldiers are at risk, then why don't they get them out of the country they are stationed in and into safety?
He also leaked war crimes which means that he is a whistle blower, and to some a hero.

I never said you didn't have a right to respond. I also never said you weren't entitled to your Anti-American views. What I did say is that I am surprised at the Americans that actually support you or discuss matters with you when you think so low of us and our country.
As to the videos- you don't have to be an American or a part of our political system to not understand the nature of the videos I posted.
