Obama's real launch video, released yesterday: Just 168,000. YouTube's metrics tend to lag a bit, but the numbers suggest that -- energy-wise -- we're in 2010, not 2008.

5 days of viewing for 665,000 views. O'Bomber Reelection Launch Video
2 days of viewing for 168,000 views. 665,000 divided by 5 days= 133,000 per day
168,000 divided by 2 days= 84,000 per day Than means O'Bomber Over the Rainbow on a Unicorn is only being viewed 63% more than the O'Bomber Reelection Launch video.  IP: Logged |

actually it would be 4 days and one day, making the average for obama's actual clip a little MORE per day than the parody...but that was yesterday. got new numbers?and when you take into account the fact that obama was on radio and tv there will be quite a lot of "views" not in the count. jes' sayin' classic spin! Actually, it wasn't one day for O'Bomber. The Politico piece said on the 5th that it was released YESTERDAY. That's 2 days, not 1 day. And yeah, I gots numbers. Up to the minute numbers.  O'Bomber Over the Rainbow on a Unicorn

oh dear,if something was released yesterday it has been out one day. if it was released today it has not had a day's exposure yet. in other words a day has 24 hours; if i was born yesterday i am ONE day old today. and if something was released on friday then by tuesday it is FOUR days old. or do you count your first anniversary on your wedding day? and one did not have to go get counted on youtube to hear or see obama so the numbers are apples and oranges anywho.. thanks abs!jwhop i really don't care which one racks up more youtube counts. just splitting hairs because the way numbers are used to distort things is common practice these days. you enjoy the popularity of your parody. hell, have a martini and watch it a few more times!!! roflmao...like i said, no such thing as bad publicity and if it's REALLY funny thass all good! the fact that one is a joke and the other actual news means they are hardly comparable anyway... the topic of distortion of facts is VERY interesting to me, jwhop. i don't give a rat's arse about whether something that makes people laugh gets more views on youtube than something that was broadcast on radio and tv already fields.that seems to be something you don't mind, the fact that everything you regurgitate is spun like cotton candy...
