While I doubt the catch phrase "the floating dollar" will catch on, interesting piece.

He makes a very good point about basing the dollar on yesterdays model. Nixon, as he says, "de-linked" the dollar from gold.

Two of Obama's biggest mistakes (Tim Geithner to Treasury, and then the re-appointment of the Bush 43 Ben Bernanke-- Have not been capitalized on, because Pubs approved / without realizing their own gaff.

But the real crux is that they [pubs] do not have a viable candidate. Capitalizing on the O- mans mistakes is moot.
