He has been warning us for so many years. Wasn't he the one that predicted the economy collapse? And yet we still don't listen to him. He gets ridiculed, the media ignores him but he is honestly the real thing...the real hope, the real change. I cannot stress that enough. Of course he wont be president which is a shame. Those bankers/ globalist elites will not let him. I find it strange he hasn't won a state yet. I read a story about the speech he gave and some of it was so inspiring that it almost made me cry. Finally someone who sounds like they genuinely want to represent us, the people. Dont listen to the media. They are always against him. Damn the media ...so powerful. But please support this man even if looks like he's doomed! Its time to take back our freedom and constitution!Just look at the stupid media: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8bPfzIF8Qg&feature=related IP: Logged |

I love Ron Paul except for one major thing and I think it is very major.I don't think he understands foreign policy. This is not even about money.I don't think he comprehends what we are dealing with. I don't care to go into it more than that. However,I think he is adorable in that he is so genuine and a true breath of fresh air.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. He's completely out of touch with reality that's why he won't be president. His policies and ideas for running the country are illogical. He doesn't have viable solutions and his arguments lack substance. Someone who wants issues such as abortion to be decided by the state would like for abortion to be banned except in the case of "honest rape" really? Having the state in charge of controversial issues such as abortion and contraception. These issues shouldn't be up for discussion. A women's right to choose should not be decided by the state, especially if a majority of the population is pro choice. And he thinks the federal government should aggressively restrict immigration however he wants limited governmental interference? As well as having the government ban welfare? What? As a Libertarian who throws around the words liberty and freedom a bunch he might need to research their definitions. And yes what about his views on foreign affairs and diplomacy...Every issue can't be handed over to the state. It's just not possible. Gay rights, civil rights, education, abortion, drugs, guns, health care. And what about foreign affairs? With limited government power who's handling international affairs? Ron Paul? He has no policies in regards to international affairs and has a major lack in understanding of foreign politics. He wants a strong national defense however does not want to engage at all in foreign affairs? He's completely illogical and this is why he's nowhere near getting close to that oval office. "That’s actually the greatest problem with Representative Paul’s views. He doesn’t grasp what America is, what we have always stood for, and what our global responsibilities are as the world’s sole superpower, and he clearly has no sense of who actually threatens our way of life. A country governed by a Paul administration would lead to a much more dangerous world, embolden our enemies, and likely result in significant American casualties...Ron Paul has not learned that lesson. Lucky for the country, he’s unlikely to become president, but it’s heartening to see his rivals have begun to point out, as Newt Gingrich recently did, that “Ron Paul’s views are totally outside the mainstream of virtually every decent American.”" http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/286942/pauls-foreign-policy-truly-ou tside-mainstream-jamie-m-fly IP: Logged |

hmmm, I like his vibe..that he's different...in order to Change things Democrats and Republicans would have to Unite into 1 Party. ... meet in the Middle and work together.. that way, there is no one against any One... aren't we a11 suppose to work together for the same things.. !? ------------------ All my love, with all my Heart lotusheartone IP: Logged |

I am pro choice myself, Ron Paul is Pro Life but doesn't impose his beliefs on others and so thinks every state should decide what to do with this matter. Good article on Ron Paul and abortion: http://www.dailypaul.com/212206/when-pro-life-is-pro-choice This been said I am a lot more concern about other political matters that I find are a lot more important than abortion rights and gay rights at this moment. John Stewart does have a point, thanks for sharing that Amelia, however if Ron Paul was running for the commander of chief of his own household then his loyalty to fixed ideas would be admirable. However he's running to be president of a very powerful country. He's meant to be a global representation of American ideals and policies. He's meant to be a representation of the people, and if he's not listening to them and considering their input then why in the world would we individuals living in a democratic society want him to be President. It might be me being a Libra and all but I prefer leaders that weigh decisions back and forth with input from their followers, before they come to concise conclusions. Leaders are meant to be a reflection of their followers. I want thinkers in that oval office not a president with fixed viewpoint's who barely takes in to consideration public opinion. He's to dogmatic to be the leader of this country and thankfully he won't ever be.The country has spoken and it looks as though Ron Paul won't get any where near the republican nomination.
