I am reaching the point that I am more angry at the people than at the elitists who are creating a one world government for been fooled by the two party system and mainstream media and thinking that the solution is to not vote for Obama. I just returned from the delegate elections packed with republicans who kept repeating things such as "anything but Obama." Oh how I wish it was that simple. Bush also committed treason, not just Obama and if our next president is republican this does not guarantee that we will get our freedoms back and that things wont continue to get worst. There are bad people in both parties. People are so naive that they deserve what is coming. I am an alternate delegate but I renounce this. Why should I fight for everyone's rights when the majority of people are not fighting for theirs? IP: Logged |

a lot of people have decided to get DIRECTLY involved by becoming candidates. i believe in unprecedented numbers.there are also good people on both sides. i agree that for the most part this system has us jumping from pot to fire and back again, or you could see it as tacking against the wind...unfortunately both sides whether knowingly or not (and both coexist) are helping to sew things up with the seesaw of taxpayer funded institutions, many very crucial, being handed over by the next administration to the private sector (and they do not repay the taxpayer, far from it)... it takes a very strong and/or crazy individual to make their way (without getting swallowed up) through the circus you just witnessed, amelia.

I don't think anyone deserves anything specifically because of their lack of critical thinking, however I do believe we as a society need to be more aware and incisive about the decisions we make, which includes those decisions surrounding our political system. The problem is the ineffectiveness of our political system, not the candidates who are just variables within the larger political equation. Hearing people say things such as "anything but obama" is just nutty and just reminds me how close minded many people are in our society. You are right, it's not that simple and frankly the problem isn't Obama, it's our highly flawed political system. But it's all about playing the blame game, instead of holding those within the system accountable. It's not about the greater good, it's about self interests and catering to ourselves not society as a whole. Which is the problem.IP: Logged |
