Rush stands for his principles. He is not perfect, but who is? If you can name someone, I will give you a million dollars.
The liberals( and some RINO's) tried to excoriate Rush for an error in his usual flawless judgement. However, the part which warms my heart is that this has angered so many wonderful people that they have been empowered. Hannity is stronger on Fox now. Other people are so sick and tired of staying silent that they are speaking up.
Rush is a national treasure. Bless you and love you Rush.------------------

Jesus Christ. I prefer my funds in US Dollars please, although I'll accept in Euros with a currency swap contract. It'll be good if you can transfer through a Cayman Islands or Bahamian special purpose vehicle because, like leading politicians, I'm willing to pay the 15% capital gains tax but not the 38% federal income tax. It would be a gift, so it is tax-free to the recipient. Ami would pay a gift tax.------------------

an error in his usual flawless...huh? the fluke thing was just the famous straw that broke the camel's back for a lot of people. i don't know what kind of "pressure" the "left" put on him or his advertisers, but i do know that this is far from an outstanding case of rush overdoing his "absurdist humour" - more like the norm, and basically libel, for which many people would be sued.of course anyone who sticks their neck out these days is "fair game" to those who make their living stirring up people's hackles. rush is the perfect example of supply side economics in radio...plaster him on multiple stations in the same area, and repeat all over the country, and eventually you will get enough "listeners" to win the advertisers to make it pay. murdoch has done this over and over again. it was definitely known by those advertisers that they would suffer a short term hit to their visibility and even stock prices, but they did it anyway. why? because people are fed up with the hate machine. everyone has messed up, true, ami. but i notice that you harp on the mess ups of people you don't like just as much as anyone else, so let's not pretend otherwise. It is nice to know that good sometimes trumps bad. For Rush, all that has happened since the attack on him has made him, his advertisers, the people who love him and his fellow wonderful talk show hosts like Sean Hannity and Mark Levin EVEN Stronger.
It is nice to have a happy ending, once in a while  ------------------

Gambling is illegal. The IRS can use the tax return against you and prosecute for gambling--like they did in the infamous Sullivan case (which should have ended the income tax, but Sullivan claimed the privilege against self-incrimination instead of the right not to be a witness against oneself).------------------

I was listening and I heard this but I don't listen all the time. He said, "If a woman wants someone to pay so she can have sex. What does that make her?" or something like that. I never heard him say SHE was a **** but I listen off and on. Even if he did, it is MILD compared to woman being called the C word and T word by liberals.
It is sad that free speech is getting impinged on, for anyone though. I value free speech. I will fight for the right for anyone to say what they want even if it is against Jews, Christians or woman(my groups  ) Once free speech is gone, we are totally screwed imo.

Rush is angry! They all are. I have never heard the conservatives with such cajones. All things work out for good. The liberals trying to trap Rush turned around for his good he he------------------
